Broadsword/Regen

Hey,

Is a BS/Regen good in Sirens call?
Do I really need resilience and integration?

I am really looking for a good dueling scrapper in that zone.

I don't care what you're doing, not having Integration would be a very, very bad idea.

I see - do I need the stamina pool then?

You don't need it, but you may want the unsurpressed movement of Swift/Hurdle and/or the additional +regen from Health. Quick Recovery is more potent than Stamina, so you could skip Stamina if you like, but I often (eventually) take both.

Alright thanks again.

Just to clarify about Integration... that's your status protection. It's also the source of your REAL regeneration.

Regen gets Quick Recovery, which can be a replacement for stamina. I recently asked a question on these boards related to making a regen scrapper viable without stamina, and it seems to come down to "it depends on how you build him." You can use end reduction enhancements, and replace recharge reduction with damage enhancers (to give you more bang for your endurance buck). You can also use some IO sets to increase your recovery rate.

normally with /regen you can go ahead and skip Stamina since youll have a built in stamina anyways but haveing played a BS/Regen i found i had to take both even with 2acc/2dmg/2end slotting (dont pvP only PvE)and i was runnin out of end by the time i was in the middle of the second mob. So i would recommend you pick up Stamina and slot some end reduc's in your attacks as well.

Alright thanks a bunch!

I'm a "Why would you need stamina AND quick regeneration?" kinda player. But I play Dark Armor, which eats your endurance bar and laughs at you from about level 12 to 50, so my idea of endurance management is different from most other peoples'.

Regeneration has MORE endurance recovery than most other people and LESS toggles to burn it. Stamina is just for people who can't be bothered to turn off Sprint in combat.

So you think you're a hero, huh.

My suggestion to you is to do a bit of research into character builds. You're asking very basic questions that can be more easily (and will help you further) if you were to look over a guide. Just make sure the guide you decide to learn from is as current as possible.

I'd reccomend Stamina, Broadsword is one of those heavy hitting sets that eats end like popcorn.

I have a BS/regen scrapper. Originally, I took the Fitness pool and Stamina because I figured you can't have too much endurance. Later, I respec'ed the character to get rid of the Fitness pool because I could do just fine without Stamina and could easily think of 3 more powers to get.

Integration is probably the most important power in the set. I don't have Resilience. It's not a lousy power, but it's not good enough to be a 'must have' - not even close.

As a general comment in response to your questions: you seem not to be familiar with scrappers and want to PvP with them. You're doing this backwards. You need to know how to play the character, and how the powers work in general, before you can even HOPE to be competent in PvP.

While PvP builds and skills would be different from those for PvE, you're trying to learn that AND how your powers work. Expect to suck in PvP if you're not familiar with the powers.
