What else is on the back-burner
Well, I asked Positron about more starting contacts for villains at HeroCon and he said he couldn't comment.
It's not how many times you get knocked down that count. It's how many times you get up.
If GR has a City's worth of content as I expect, then naturally there would be new low level contacts. Of course they could be "neutral" contacts for characters who start in Praetoria, but if all ATs are available to us there it would be tantamount to new villain contacts.

"To die hating NCSoft for shutting down City of Heroes, that was Freedom."

If that NCSoft marketing survey is correct, then there will be new starting contacts in Praetoria, as it mentioned that players would get the option to start off as a neutral in Praetoria, and then progress to beign good or evil by their career choices.

Well, following the pattern of them granting all our innermost desires (power customization, side-switching, etc) i would say whats left on the list is:
-offline costume creator?
-the real return of base pvp?
-additional IO storage on respec?
thats all the items i could think of that we've been asking/questioning about for the longest time.

I've already forgotten about most of you

I am hoping we'll see more auras soon, or even a "transparecy" aura for those who wish to be more ethereal.
Why not just pick up a stealth power or even one of the many stealth IOs? That way not only will your costume be "ethereal" but you'll also have similar in-game effects.
I meant transparent like the Ghost Pirates.
Why waste a power to have a transparent effect when it could be an aura?
Ooooo... transparent AND glowing... nice
From what I've gathered reading the suggestion page thru the years (which has lessened due to the multiple respec options) was that if you wanted to trade your HOs (yes, it was that way back in the day!) off of your character you needed more than one respec or some such. People keep asking for more than 10 slots per respec.

If I recall correctly, Posi went on record way back when, saying that we were lucky we got to save any enhancements at all. Given that, I highly doubt we're going to get more. I can see other features coming before that.

Grey Pilgrim: Fire/Fire Tanker (50), Victory
You have no idea the irony of why I was asking. Chock yet another up to me not being original
I've already forgotten about most of you

If it helps, I noticed what you did.

Simply put: END GAME CONTENT...
And not just more Task Forces with the same basic combat, the same "spam them for 20 minutes before they die" archvillains, etc.
My favorite part of the game pre-50 was, BY FAR, the sewer trial. The Terra Volta trial was also pretty fun. They were actually tense, difficult battles in unique locations that could be failed if you weren't on top of things, and completing them actually felt heroic.
After 50, I devoted a few months to defeating Hamidon (as those who were around back in Issue 3 might remember), which was pretty much the only thing left to do that gave any real sense of accomplishment (the first successful raid took over a month's planning and organization, and I still remember the moment he went down and the HOs came pouring in). The next day, I found over 100 people waiting in the Hive for me to log in, which was also pretty gratifying... the next day was a little less so, and before too long it just became routine.
4 years later, there still isn't really anything NEW that surpasses that. There aren't really even any new trials that live up to the creativity and uniqueness of the sewer trial. I love the invention system, the presence of villains, the slightly more dynamic missions that are peppered throughout the game (more ambushes, more map variety, more dynamic NPCs), but there are no really great achievements to strive for.
And that's why my current stay, like the previous ones, will probably be temporary.

So after reading the Dev interview on I16 and how power customization was long on the back-burner and said to be impossible; what else is on the back-burner list of "impossibles"? And what are the likelihood that we will ever see them?
First off: Personal Bases & Advanced Base Editing features (DOORS!)
