AE Anonymous!

It appears as though there's a decent population of players who hate spending hours in AE, and equally hate forming their own non-AE teams. I've taken the liberty of creating AE Anonymous, a public, global channel designed for organizing non-AE mission teams of all levels.

Feel free to join by typing /chanjoin AE Anonymous, and spread the word! =)

Well not that i don't love gabby, but every time i seem to try to start a channel, i.e Blueside Hamidon, i get yelled at for there being too many channels already. But also, when i am on, i never see much AE chatter in the big channels such as Inf Badges, Inf Badge seeker, etc., so i'm not sure how useful this channel would be besides for the people that would go to such links to shun AE all together. Usually if you are in Big AE zones which really only seems to be AP you get BC and perhaps a few tells, other than that, i don't ever get much for AE.

But if it goes well and works for you, congrats gabby, if not, then no loss really.

It seems to be working out pretty well already. It's amazing how many people dislike AE but are too lazy/socially inept/scurred to put their own teams together. (That isn't meant to be a slam, it's just the honest truth). Hopefully this alleviates some of the stress of forming teams by letting those who don't mind leading extend the offers, and let the others jump all over it like hungry little fish.

I understand that it's *ugh* another channel to join. Let the badges channel be for badges, same for Hami and lord knows what other channels there are. I'm not shunning AE, merely facilitating teaming by allowing those who are sick of AE to have a recruitment zone for whatever they have running without needing to send a bazillion tells or spam 6 different channels.

If it doesn't work, oh well. I figured it was at least worth a shot considering that dozens of people lose interest in AE every day. =)

I thinik it's a cool idea. I'll be adding that channel to the many I already have set up. I don't hate AE, however. I really enjoy the player-made arc's (some of them anyway) and appreciate the work some people have put into their creations. I created an arc, so I do know it's hard work, and very frustrating when no one plays it except for a few friends.

I'll be joining. Hope it turns out well. I've always wished there was a "find a team" channel. the TF and Badge channels never seemed like the right place to LFT.

Captain Tom Morris here, I love this channel. Its about time someone other than me got sick and tired of the AE garbage.

I was introduced to this game by a friend of mine and that's all he wanted to do. Bored the hell out of me. Shortly after joining, I had a character at level 40 and felt it was hollow, that I hadn't earned it. So I deleted that character and went about earning levels the right way. Shortly after that, my friend got banned for exploiting the communication officer's XP in farming scenarios.

Naturally, he got pissed off at the game administration and left. No great loss to me.

I enjoy this channel, its helped me find out a lot of things about CoH that I had previously been completely ignorant of. Thanks, Gabby!

Genius idea, Gabby. And so far it's working out brilliantly. There was a successful RWZ raid that Gabby helped coordinate (the leader didn't show up until right before we began). And Gabby, Morris and a few others (myself included) ran a Manticore TF. I'm sure there have been more success stories =] It's off to a great start!

Killing time waiting for servers to come back up. Looking for a team on Infinity for synapse or citadel. or dktf. or itf. or stf. or wtf!

Also like to thank the Infinity AE Anon channel publically in this forum for helping to once again MAX OUT the RWZ for our Sunday night ship raid. That's twice in the past month we have filled the zone, and everyone gets a big pile of Vanguard Merits. So come on out Sunday at 7 PM EST, Infinity. Or come early and get that LGTF badge while waiting to blow holes in the Mothership. Woo!
