AE Anonymous!

I don't own the Rikti Ship Raid franchise...a 10 PM Sunday run doesn't bug me at all. Nor does a run on any other day or time. It's ALWAYS a good time to stomp the Rikti.

It's been a while, but I've seen this server do 10 rikti raids in a row on a Sunday afternoon. All it takes is someone to lead the next one after one gets over... usually enough people show up to take over for the ones who left. And a rikti raid doesn't actually require 3-4 full teams.

It has been suggested that AEA schedule a Hamidon Smackdown. Looking for feedback on a day and time...

For those of you who missed the MoTD or tonights discussion:

I'm washing my hands of AE Anon. For various reasons (that I refuse to get into), I will be leaving the channel in the hands of the remaining members as of Sunday night. Herc, you're more than welcome to make what you can out of it.

my understanding of this channel is that it's for non-AE team-building. there have been frequent complaints about a small number of people who treat it like a chat room. it's NOT a chat room. these few people must learn to control themselves or move their chatter to another channel, so the rest of us who are using the channel as intended may continue to enjoy it. i hope that the good citizens of AEA will aid me in returning the channel to it's principles.

In the interest of cleaning up AEA, and returning it to it's intended purpose, I have created a new channel on Infinity called Infinite Chatter. On IC, you will not be censored, you will never be banned, and you many chatter on inanely until your fingers cramp. I hope this will allow the rest of us to use AEA as Gabz had hoped.

Also, the guy who claims that being silenced is against his right to free speech can go stick it some where else. Also to the guy saying that he wants to get the devs in on the chan drama because somebody bad mouthed his sg; GROW A PAIR. What are you 12? The devs don't have time to deal with your drama. Nor should they care. If they ban any one it should be YOU and the guy who goes on about free speech. True You have a right to your opinion, but you dont have the right to hurt any body with your opinion. I have half a mind to log in and kick every body from the global. All you drama people make the rest of the Internet look bad. Thats right I said it, you make the INTERNET look bad; and we all know what kind of crap is on the Internet. Maybe if were lucky the will lock this thread and disband the chan. That would be the best thing ever.

I ended up deleting the channel myself due to the immature rantings of a select few. It takes a great deal to offend me, usually. However, the banter on the channel lately was so lowbrow and off putting I couldn't stomach it.

Thats saying something.

Please, take it to IC and leave AEA for those serious about finding good teams.

for the record, the Infinite Chatter experiment seems to be working so far. Those who simply desired a forum to have uncensored chats with their AEA friends now have a place to do so, and irrelevant chatter on AEA has been signifigantly reduced. Thank you all for your consideration and assistance in returning AEA to it's intended purpose. Those of you who have quit, please, come back and take another look. At the very least, please refrain from slagging us on the forums until you've seen how the changes made have affected the general level of discourse on AEA.

I haven't been on much in the last 3 weeks but my solution to idiots in channel was silence them and forget about it. It sucks that some idiots drove Gabby out, she's worth a million of them.
