  1. USCI, I've got a curiosity about your hardware setup: what type of hard drive did you have before and what type do you have now?
  2. It is machine-based. It's located in your CoH folder:
    Code:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\City of Heroes\logs\game
The settings to create logs are either account or character based, I think. So that is on that cloud.

    AE Anonymous!

Becuase it's the next best alternative to either killing it with fire or nuking it from orbit.
  4. It's too bad that money is already spent.
  5. I'll do my best to find you either late Wednesday night or something Thursday.
  6. Out with the old, in with the new. I'd gladly welcome a change to the looks of granite.
  7. It'll be a little bit of a strech... but I think I can front 500k for your purples if you feel 5k is unfair.

CC2 summons Carrion Creeper Patch2 every ten seconds, at every enemy corpse in range. CCP2 is a short lived pet whose only purpose is to attack with an AoE version of Entangle and then self-destruct silently. This AoE Entangle applies a Mag4 Immob to an 8ft area, deals a decent amount of Lethal and Smashing damage, and prevents flight and knockback on the targets. Creeper Entangle has a max target cap of 5 and a base accuracy of 1.0.
Based on what Weatherby said above, the Entangling portion of the pet fires off every 10 second and the hold proc would last for 8 seconds before resistance. However, it says the AoE Entangle fires for every corpse in range, which sounds the proc would chance a single critter multiple times if it was in the range of more than one corpse. Even if it does chance more than once per critter, I'm not sure if the proc will stack with itself or not.

Surely that can't be right: multiple checks against a single critter in the range of two or more AoEs? Does that the Entagle AoE will trigger the Hunter and Positron damage procs in that manner too?

    Otherwise:

    Vines
The Vines power has a 50% chance of summoning a Carrion Vine every ten seconds for every living enemy (PC or NPC) in range. These are the vines we know and love and they are the most visible part of the power. Each Vine lasts for 15s and has a ranged Vine Thorns attack and a melee Vine Smash attack. Both the attacks applie a small recharge slow, a movement snare, and a -fly effect. The melee Vine Smash also has a guaranteed knockdown. Both attacks have an accuracy of 1.0.
This sounds like the Bramble power will chance the Impeded Swiftness damage proc every 10 seconds and the Vines have two attacks that will chance the proc every time they attack, which would make the Impeded Swiftness damage proc the most valuable to have in place.

Damn. This is almost worth buying all the procs and foregoing the fact that I can't access the test server to test this before commitment.
  9. It's even worse for me when I'm doing a respec build and all I need is that one last enhancement... I'll bid high the entire way down the list of available recipes just to get the IO to finish the set and the entire build.

Case in point: I miscounted my IOs on hand with my last respec and was short by three Kinetic Combat Dam/End/Rech IOs... So to get the set bonuses I needed, I bought three Chance for KB IOs just to sit in place until I could fill the bids for the Dam/End/Rech IOs. Not only did I splurge on the salvage, but I splurged a couple of mil on IOs I planned to throw away at some point.

WANT NAO is a powerful force indeed...

The mother pet causes slow and immb and when aoe immb hits, it also checks for target aoe proc. Nice!
So would it be more damaging to slot Creepers for damage? Or more damaging to put the Positron proc, the Hunter proc, the Impeded Swiftness proc, and the Explosive Strike proc in it?
  11. It's almost crazy how the AE has changed the market. Before AE I remember that uncommon salvage was so worthless that it wasn't even worth using the market slots to try and sell it.
  12. 9 PM EST, huh? 15 million's worth working a bio up for. I'll do my best to be there!
  13. It's too bad we don't have a more detailed log of when our items sold.
It'd've been nice to know if those items had sold out in rapid sucession, or steadily throughout the weekend.

One way or another, I'm thinking this list can be used as a guide of which specific common salvage pieces to gamble on next double xp weekend. If you had instead put 360 piecies of the 13 items on that list, do you think they all would have sold then?
  14. I'll see if I can catch you tonight after I get home from class, should be after 11 p.m., but before midnight EST.

Same here, just give us the word.
  16. Honestly, I'm not sure if there's anything to learn from it either, but I'll keep my mind and eyes open to see what I can pick up.

Although, I am interested how money becomes more money and how it's determined to be divided among the investors and the acting party. Like I said earlier, I don't know very much at all about investing stuff so anything I do learn is something more than nothing in the end. Even if it's standard market play, then at least it's something I can say I've done someday.

Also, if you choose Virtue, I could easily go along with that as it's my second home server and one million inf won't be much of a risk at all.
  17. I'd be willing to put some funds in too, if too much isn't needed to start things. I'm definitely one of the common joe types who doesn't understand the specifics of the market (espcially investments) but like DumpleBerry I've been curious about the finer points of the market ever since I started reading the market forums.

I figure this'll either be a good way to learn something, or a quick way to lose a fair chunk of change (from my perspective).
