You could until around a week ago.
I'm only ladylike when compared to my sister.
I actually asked niviene about this a few days ago and she said
"Hi JGHopkins,
We have not addressed name changes yet and are not planning to do so for a while. Once we decide how that will be handled, you will have the ability to change your name.

It *IS* unchangeable.
All she said was that they plan to change that at some point in the future. I predict it will be right after they restore the Cathedral of Pain trial.

There are mods that allow the end user to change it. They have records so you can keep track of who was who at what time.
The problem is that they do all sorts of nasty things with the way vb indexes. On a forum this size a single name change could take hours and soak up a ton of resources.
At least that is how they explain it on one of the tech forums. To be honest I never played with any of the mods myself.
Well, for the forums, at least. The character that WAS my main character that I based this forum account off of has since been deleted, and I would like to change my name.
First off, is it possible? Do I have to ask an Admin in order to change it? Can I make a new forum account?
