I sincerely hope you still update this topic.
For some reason, I'm unable to upload pictures. I keep getting a warning, saying "File Extension does not match MIME type." The file(s) I'm trying to upload is/are .jpg picture types.
EDIT: DERP. Nevermind. The destination file name was the problem. -
If this thread is still active, I would like to make an odd request for someone to draw my character. I would like to ask this of someone who can draw Furries without any issue; because of the character creation limitations City of Heroes has, I'm forced to rely on outside images to get the appearance of my character across.
Here are the reference pictures. I would like to get the appearance of this

http://i792.photobucket.com/albums/y...s/SH_1_001.png
Suited in this.

The request will be in two parts - the first will just be a regular bust of the character taking his helmet off, and the second will be a full-body picture of him wearing his armor, without the helmet, with the digigrade legs
I know it's a tall order to fill, but I would very much appreciate it if someone could come along and fill it. I'm trying to create a Virtueverse page for this character and I'd like some pictures to put into it. -
I would like to see a feature where we can take screenshots directly on the Costume Design interface. If it is possible, how can it be done?
Everytime I press "Print-Screen" I always get a black picture whenever I try to paste the picture onto Photoshop. -
I'm currently eating Popeye's Chicken Tenders while waiting to get past the queue on Virtue.
I have never seen a queue of this magnitude since I first started playing this game. I'm guessing Going Rogue was what people left the game to wait for. In any case, I completely remade my Kinetics/Dual-Pistol Defender (who was level 20) as an Empathy/Dual-Pistol Defender to experience the Praetorian content. Plus, the character never really felt like a Hero nor a Villain, to me, so I just figured; what the hell? -
I've figured it out. If you're running Stardock, only open it up and go to Settings. Click "Add" in the Exclusion list, and find cityofheroes.exe. Add that to the list and it solves the problem.

Hi, I'm having a huge problem getting into the game client. My issue is that the game does not load past the initial "Loading" bar after you click out of the Launcher. This didn't start until after the last patch downloaded. Is there a way to fix this issue?

The six-year project has finally been completed, and the fruits of our labor shows. He's...the perfect subject. He had awoken today, confused and dazed - though that was to be expected. He was on the table for six years, as machines and our most brilliant scientists were at work on him.
Subject, Kurama Bingyi, lost his life to the Rikti in the War Zone within Paragon City. A Mutant by birth, his powers manifested at the age of 12, during which he committed unwilling murder - claimed to be by accident. He went on the run for the next four years, unknown were his actions. He ended up in Paragon City by the age of 19, and went to work. Though, his vigilante tactics were...juvenile, at best.
Subject was admitted with disabled arms and legs - no hope of recovery. Extreme scars along his face, as well. Work mostly focused on creation of new, cybernetic arms and legs. An advanced mask was placed to cover his facial scars, with a built-in Heads-up Display.
Subject was awakened at 1506 hours, under massive doses of sedatives. Regained motor functions and other necessary senses. Upon further testing done later that day, subject exhibited increased strength and agility. The cybernetic implants have, successfully, altered his physical and mental capacity.

Kurama's learning. Six years dead does a lot to someone's brain, but he's learned at an improved rate. Thanks to his implants, he's surpassed even our head Researcher and Physician in knowledge - something that Dr. Thornberg was not pleased with. Nevertheless, Kurama's showing extreme signs of a speedy recovery.
Thank Science.

We released Kurama just yesterday, knowing that he was ready to take in his new life. We ensured that he was ready. He needed to be.
The fate of our project rests in his actions. Project ANGAEL will continue through him.

Project ANGAEL is a new Roleplaying Supergroup that focuses on Science, Technology, and Cyborgs. As we're brand new, we have nothing to offer. However, I can tell you what I am looking for:
- Basically, any character that is associated with the Science, Technology, and Natural origins can join this Supergroup.
- If you're a Cyborg, that's double points for you.
- I'm in the process of making a website. It's incomplete. I'll post it up once I'm done.
- RP Contact must be completed. I'm on during late-nights, so if you're interested you might need to either stay up late, wake up early, or live in Asia.
- You can contact me at my Global, @Huatar. I'm best reached by mail.
-
Am I the only one who gets bored of watching the same Idle stances while in Flight? Honestly, I believe it's time we get new ones.

So I've finished downloading the patch, but during the middle of it my internet connection went down and - while I was sleeping - my laptop shut off and restarted (it does that a lot). I opened it to see that the download was only half complete, so I let it sit there for a few hours. When it finally finished, it said that it needed to fix some files.
That was two hours ago. The downloader is saying that it will take - at most - four days before the patch is complete. Could this be a problem with my internet?
If it helps, I'm currently living over in South Korea. -

Hrm. I guess I've not yet been informed that Cryptic sold City of Heroes to NCSoft/Paragon Studios.
Nevertheless, whoever made it, I thank you. -
The one turn off I've always had with this game was that you couldn't WALK around like you would see with the city's citizens and villains. It was such a defect that I was always forced to use Hover all the time, which isn't really -as- good. So, I would like to thank the folks who finally decided at Cryptic that adding "Walk" would be a great idea.
Really, thank you. -
[[ Heavy Roleplaying Supergroup ]]
I know a few days ago that I posted a topic about a villain-side comedy Roleplaying group, but this time I wish to start up a new Hero-side Supergroup that's open to any roleplayers of any caliber and backstory. The premise behind it is that it's just a group of like-minded heroes that all fight for the same ends, no matter how they do it or what they do to achieve their goals.
As such, the group has no real theme and no requirements expected of characters to join. As of right now, I'm looking for more members to start up. I cannot promise activity, as people are on at different times of the day, but I can promise that you will not be discriminated against based on your backstory or your skills of roleplaying. I may be too flexible with this, but what with all these themed superhero groups that require you to completely change your character and its backstory in order to join, I figured that I should up the ante by providing a flexible group open to anyone interested.
Also, I'm looking for people to fill out Officer roles, to assist with day-to-day activities. The supergroup base is in construction (We do not have enough prestige to expand to anything bigger as of yet), and we only have eight members in the group as of this moment. However, I hope to change this in the very near future. It will be difficult for now, because I'm going to be flying out to move to Korea on August 17 (Tomorrow, at the time of this post).
If you are at all interested, or would like to help out, please add me as a global friend, at @Huatar, or just whisper me if I'm online.
Thank you. -
As the topic says, there is a problem with the I.D. Editor. When I try to select a specific line of text, the selection goes all over the place. The typing cursor is always two lines above where I usually click it. Not only that, it doesn't backspace when it reaches the first column of a line.
Is this issue well-known? Or is it a problem on my end? -
"Are you a villain in search of a home, where all that awaits you is an endless stream of satisfaction and cookies? Are you considered the comic-relief of your group? Are you searching for a home with--Wait, I already mentioned that. Bah! No matter. Dr. Mechaniok searches for like-minded villains to come together to form what he considers to be the greatest, and most menacing group in the Rogue Isles. He asks for no requirements, nor any past obligations.
'Together, we shall fight for our right to preserve the peace for our enemies...Wait, that's not right...'"
So this is my "first" attempt at a group of any kind, and I was hoping to start it off as a sort-of "comedic-relief" group. Basically what I was going for was that these Villains would be the kind that mess up their schemes and plots at every turn, either with the help of Heroes or by their own doings. It will take some time for me to really get this worked out, and if the concept fails I'll just rehash the group for something else. Nevertheless, I would like to see this project through.
If you have any interest, or wish to offer help, please message me at @Huatar. -

Was this that argument I had the unfortunate luck to be close to during that costume contest on Einarr? I certainly hope you reported him for even bringing up the subject. -
Well, for the forums, at least. The character that WAS my main character that I based this forum account off of has since been deleted, and I would like to change my name.
First off, is it possible? Do I have to ask an Admin in order to change it? Can I make a new forum account? -
I copied over all files using a Thumb Drive. Unfortunately, it didn't help at all. It's still installing the actual full game
-
I'm not sure if I'm doing this right, but I recently got a brand new gaming laptop. My situation is that I don't have the game disks; the only way I ever got the game was by downloading it straight from my Account Page.
I downloaded the installer, but it's been taking me all day so far--and it's not even half-way.
