I'm going to say this not as criticism, but to help - slow down when you're typing. The typos *do* make it more difficult to read and understand what you're saying. (I'm assuming you typed that out quickly.)
That said, and my thoughts on each of your suggestions in order (since yes, I did skip down to them) -
(1) No. Absolutely not. Not least because of Architect Edition.
(2) I have no problem with. I've said this one myself. (And tend to support the idea of putting off the AE intro contact 'til 15-20, as well, as you're directed there at level 5 now.)
(3) No. For those of us who have played through the low level content, "new" content in the AE is very nice to go through.
(4) Eh. I'm not sure how this would work out. I think, frankly, it'd just backfire and hurt those who are using it as an alternate level path, or a bit of variety mixed in with normal missions. The PLers won't care.
(5) is a surefire way to completely and totally kill the AE. Those of us who write actual *story arcs* in it would find nobody playing them, because they just wouldn't be worth peoples time.
Besides, people have cried "doom" and "people are leaving" ... well, since the beginning. AE isn't as bad as ED and the GDN - the boards were in a continual state of flame during that, and we still kept a steady population.

If you remove XP awards, they may as well just rip AE out of the game. As it's utility for the majority of the game population becomes, effectively ZERO. Save as a loot-generator. The only ones using it will be farmers and a small "storyteller" clique.
If you are having problems getting on a team, try harder and build your own. If you note that you have one of these insta-levelers on your team, either kick them or use some brains and make allowances for his shortcomings.
And who are the "they" that are talking about CoH dying?
At Comicon, the devs even stated that subscriber numbers were UP. That's kinda the opposite of dying.

"It's just a lot of people talking about leaving the game"? Nonsense. That's the whining of a few. And if they were leaving, they would be gone.
And if they were gone, you wouldn't hear thier whining. Hopefully, on thier way out, they would respec out of thier enhancements, post them on the Market at $1, use all the resulting $Inf to donate to a random stranger, then delete thier characters to free up the names.
As for your solutions:
1, 3, 5) No. The AE was advertised as a means to get from L1-50. No changing that or you have accusations of false advertisement. There was no promise that it would be given as a method to do so more quickly than main-game missions, though.
2) I can see this one. New blueside players will not be bombarded with spam until they've played some of the original content. Or at least run a sewers team. Either way, they will learn that there is more than one zone before they hit L50.
But redside, the AE farming is done in Cap Au Diable, a L10-20 zone that is a rough analogue of Steel Canyon. Yanking the AE out of Mercy won't do much of anything for redside farming, so I expect blueside farming would move to Steel Canyon or Talos. (I don't see KR or Skyway becoming hubs.)
4) Maybe, but you would be cutting both legitimate and "exploit" play. I'm not a fan of punishing everyone to catch a few.
You say that you hate all the farming, yet Positron was too harsh in his decision? If he was harsh, or too harsh, it would have been more noticable and effective. How many characters did you get de-leveled or deleted? How many deleted/de-leveled characters did your friends have?
You seem really eager to partially shift the blame for farming exploits from the farmers to the Developers. They stated quite plainly that the intention was not to create farms or participate in AE farming. Read the ingame AE tutorial. They have the right to ban anyone intentionally misusing the tools given.
Your addiction and peer pressure arguments fail. You are responsible for your own actions.
OP:
Stop blaming the developers of this game, for introducing a sandbox style of play that was meant to be enjoyed and not exploited.
Turn your anger instead on the individual people who abuse that system and find every way they can of producing an "I win" button.
THEY are to blame. Not the game, not the devs, not the players who have made fantastic story arcs in the AE.
AE is not ruining the game. Stupid, impatient people are ruining your experience of the game. Blame them please. Thanks.

If your "friends" quit over the AE then it's probably because they got mad after their AE exploits got smacked, or they got disciplined for using the exploits.

Tonight I ran an Abandoned Sewers Trial. Before that I was helping some of my cohorts badge hunt in Safeguard missions.
Last night I ran a Barracuda SF.
The night before that, I can a Sister Psyche TF.
Seeing a pattern yet?
I've been steadily leveling my toons up OUTSIDE of MA.
Since the inception of MA I've:
Leveled a Brute from 1-17
Leveled a Tank from 1-34
Leveled a Controller from 1-40
Leveled a Scrapper from 1-21
Leveled a Warshade from 31-38
Leveled a Blaster from 40-50
Leveled another controller from 1-50
Leveled a defender from 1-45
None of them are overnight 50's. None of them are even 1-week 50's. Or two-week 50's.
How? Found teams. Played a lot. Avoided exploits.
So I believe that it is YOU who is missing the point. Teaming is still there. If you're too lazy to find it, and decide to lie and say it isn't there AT ALL, you're the problem.

Go create a team. Somewhere other than Atlas. Are you in a Supergroup? Why are they not teaming/doing task forces? Have you visited your server boards on these very forums to see what sort of weekly events there are, other supergroups if yours isn't "up to snuff" or the like?
I do real missions. I hop on the occasional task/strike force. I do radio missions to get to the next contact, that's about it. And every once in a while, hop over into AE, grab a non-farming mission and have a change of pace. (Ran a nice arc earlier today, in fact. Decently written story, close to the lore, and an interesting premise that still dovetailed nicely - a million eyes, I believe it was called.)

I do non-AE story arcs.
I also do AE non-farm arcs.
At 5AM, I am seeing villians in every zone I enter, including Cimerora, so obviously, they are not all inside the Cap AE. People on VU2009 are noting that the farmers in Cap are not online, but there are plently of non-farmers around, so to say that the farms are all that are going on is false.

Just remember that we're allowed to oppose your OPINIONS just as much as you oppose ours. And by "us" I'm not referring to a clique behind me. I'm referring to everyone.
If you think there is something wrong with the way you're enjoying your game, then change your attitude towards the game.
I'm enjoying the game as-is. My friends are all enjoying the game as-is. I know tons of people who are enjoying the game a lot as-is.
If you can't do something to enjoy the game yourself, then by all means, be my guest and jump the "sinking boat".
A quick fix for the AE:
Deactivate ALL the Police Drones in Atlas Park...
...then switch the door of the Kronos Titan ambush mission from Founders Falls to just across the street from the AE building.

During Double XP week how many you guys stop doing normal Mish and went and do nothing but AE.
I am an Anti-Farmer,I enjoy running TF and Running Story ARC,how many people understand the ITF storyline,Unai Story Arc and 5th Column TF Story Arc welll.I like reading stuff like that it Amaze me and I am sorry.if i got Carry Away with this None sense and ask for forgiveness.
I belive this game was ment to play with friend and work togather to Explore other Realms and zone's and AE with that around a Noob think Atlas is the only zone in the game.
