missed you again yesterday, I will be on tonight a little later than normal and see if we cant hook up so I can pay up that way if you have all the cash you can start the ball rolling

I just wanted to say that we are officially in the "???" phase as of about five minutes ago. Hopefully, we'll be in the "PROFIT!" phase soon. That's provided I don't go bust in the first three days

I'll be posting weekly reports, so you can know that I'm not being lazy.

I spent the week flipping salvage to build up funds. It's safe and not risky, but it's poor income by any standards. I haven't crafted anything yet since I can't spare the slots to bid on materials.

It's going slower than I'd hoped (I thought I could hit 150m by the end of the week with a little luck), but progress is steady. By the end of Week 2 I hope to be in full production or very nearly there.

Now I kind of wish I'd did this redside, where money is raining from the sky.

Do you guys think so? 100m is not that big a sum in a world where one can get 1500 tickets a mission and the right PVP IO drop would net you a billion. TopDoc reported his hourly income to be 60m or some other hilariously large figure, and this was before AE. I am very much still in the little leagues.

Besides, income is going to be divided six ways. In order to give each of you 100m per biweekly dividend payout, I'd need to make 1.2bn a month (which is at the far upper limit of my ability, based on previous experience). It'll be interesting to see if I can do that well, especially now that i16 is so close and comes with the third major change to our reward systems in the past 12 months.

I'm flattered and happy that you're pleased. But let's stay sober because interesting times lie ahead.

Not really.

I originally started playing the market way back when in order to IO Ironblade. Well, I took care of that and I don't feel that I play any other toons enough to justify purpling them. All my toons above 35 are IO'ed. My dark/dark tank is only 16 and he already has a Steadfast -knockback (which cost me all of 3.1 million) and a Miracle +recovery (to slot at 17, which I bought with merits).

Anything I can't buy cheap, I can buy with merits and I have over 6,000 of them lying around. No, I'm not grinding for merits (because I don't really need them that much) - I've been working on the last influence badge and like to do it by running TF's.

And yet, I still mess with the market because it's fun. I just do it a lot less because, if you're doing it for fun, you don't need to hit any target amounts. If I was doing it for other people, it would become WORK. bleagh!

I don't think of this as work. If I did, I'd be charging all of you... in legal tender, not makebelieve videogame money

I've left flipping behind (mostly), and am revving up the crafting engine now.

I made a miscalculation during the weekend, which has slowed things down abit and tied up a few slots. I'm counting on the next weekend to make up for lost progress.
