yeah, i'm getting that.. i'll check in the morning, then when i come back later and go to a popular/active thread i'm following and click the goto new post option it takes me several pages past where i left off. at first i though it was 'coz of sometimes checking on my laptop and somtimes on my main pc. but no, it's doing it now i've made an effort to only check on my laptop. is most noticable when i know for a fact the last place i've read up to was a post i had made myself!
the other one i get is, i'll come to the boards and show as logged in, as i've set to "remember me" I'll go into a board showing new posts yet there are no threads marked with new posts inside so return to the main list and suddenly i'm logged out! GGRRR
EDIT - Lord M, i'm using IE 7 on vistahome premium on my lappy and IE7 on XP Pro on my main PC

Well, so far, the new software is turning out to be a bit of a turkey, isn't it?
People can't log in, or get logged out a lot.
Threads get marked as read when you log in, very helpfull.
Some people can't even post due to silly "input errors".
Can't have more than 4 images in a post INCLUDING EMOTES!
STILL getting some timeout errors.
Oh, and they're totally insecure, putting EVERYONE'S game accounts at risk due to no HTTPS.
Brilliant, really.

I had to log-in at 1pm too - the old forums kept me logged in all the time.
It's really impacting my desire to do more than just occasionally browse the forums and check my subscriptions.
I don't seem to be experiencing this but I'm using Forefox 3.0.1 on Ubuntu

I'm getting this too...posts marked as read and the view new posts option frequently starting me no where near where I left off. It's more than a little annoying. 
I'm running firefox and Windows XP on both the computers I use.
Can we get a fix soon? Pretty please?

The only trouble I seem to be having running Opera is the new post thing.
However, it turned out that Smith was not a time-travelling Terminator
I run opera and dont pay attention to the new posts thing...it could be that I'm ignorant, stuck in the past or too hyped up on DOOOOOOM™.....maybe even a mix of all three.
Apart from that the only thing that irritates me is having to select bleedin "Europe" every time I log in....I know it's only a radio button but it's time I could be spent drinking or dancing....maybe even a mix of the two.

Thread needs more DOOOOoooommmm, forum needs less "marking as read" - I hope that both can be remedied toot-sweet or I'll be sending this dish back to the kitchen and refusing to pay the bill!
