Actually, "North American forums" was really sort of a misnomer for those forums. I think we've had a number of UK and EU posters on ours for a while now... don't see what the problem is now or why people would complain. Unless it's a joke.

No, you see for that which is known as humour, your post has to be funny. If you're aiming for parody, there's a subtly to it where you have to step just over the line of seriousness and into the realms of silliness, which allows you to fall back on parody as a defense of the post.
That was neither subtle, or funny.
It was just a repetition of the same passive aggressive 'humour' and self-important piousness I've seen in several threads since the merge.
And to top it all off - your defense of your actions is "Can't you take a joke"? Please. Show a little maturity.

Here in the NA, we know how to beat a horse. And this one is still kicking.
Actually, this might be the 'For Fun' section, but this is the General Discussion board.
I don't like that it has been lumped into a section where everyone assumes everything will be a joke. In the old EU Forums, this was placed near the top, near the Announcements forum.
It was a forum where people could share both serious and silly threads, as long as they were on topic. IE: A General Discussion.
So I fail to see why I should have to assume that every post on this forum has to be taken as a silly non-sequitor to the topic at hand.
And it doesn't change the fact that all this humour is still being based on the same stupid topic. It was amusing on day 1. Now it's a passive aggressive defense in response to us joining you.
Or are we going to continue to mock the way in which I'm posting, and the place in which I'm posting, instead of actually addressing what I'm posting.

OK, serious response: I think your whole point is silly. First off, I don't agree that there are any REAL passive aggressive responses. So far, I think they are pretty much all jokes. I would recommend dealing with any actual negative situations where and when they happen. Finally, I certainly don't think that an angry reaction to something that is so obviously a joke helps the potential problem you are so worried about.
In my not so humble-NA opinion. 
Were is the North America lounge. I have never felt this left out of a forum ever hehe.
