Bah, all I did was post one link. Not nearly as helpful as all the useful info that TJ's posted since the new forums launched.

Speaking of, huge kudos to TJ for all the time and effort you've spent in helping folks get acclimated to the new forums. Although there are some out there who are resistant to change and haven't been all that receptive, I most certainly welcome the changes and appreciate all your help!

I've been having quite a bit of trouble sleeping of late, and rather than just lay there staring at the wall or ceiling trying in vain to get back to sleep, I've been getting on the computer a lot. That coupled with the recuperative time from the surgery at the beginning of the summer has given me LOTS of time to research things. When I can stand to sit for that long. And even then, I have the laptop in the Den and can lay down and surf the web.

The past 4 nights I've gotten "maybe" 8 hours of sleep total. I need to find something to do, and last night I used the time to dig into vBulletin somewhat.

While I am glad I can be useful to a few people, I'd still much rather have my sleep. Lack of sleep is keeping me from doing some things I'd like to since I'm afraid that it may affect me adversely and cause me to injure myself or others. Today would have been a gorgeous day to ride the motorcycle, but I just don't trust myself on it in this state.

Ah well. Hopefully once school starts back up I'll get so busy that I'll get the sleep due to pure exhaustion.

I find it more difficult to tell when there are new replies to a thread.

As for keeping up with where you have posted, I believe there is an option you can select from the User CP to add any thread you post in to your list of watched threads...or something like that?

I also don't like that it isn't nearly as obvious just who someone is directly replying too.

Maybe someone who is more familiar with this type of forum software can help us out with some of this stuff?

I thought we are just supposed to blindly accept change just because its change and not question what kind of change it could be or if there is such a thing as negative change vs positive change?

Aren't we just supposed to say YEAH CHANGE and then sit back and not care what happens?

I am really trying to find reasons to stay with this game. I really am. I have all kinds of sentimental attachments to my characters. But they are not making it easy.

I love my friends I made on here, but every few months it's something new, pushing me close to that door...

Thanks for the guide and link, TJ, very helpful. I'm still trying to figure out if there's a way to "show all" posts in a thread rather than having to page through (multiple pages is a peeve of mine).

Edit: Okay, so you can up the # of message/page to 100. Helps a little. Now I'm trying to see if there's any way to have clicked vs. unclicked links change color.

I'll be trying out that other game but I'll never be leaving CoH. I love the lore and stuff of this game too much.

I am getting annoyed at the lack of back details.... its something that I really want, sword/shealth/scabbards, quivers and jet pack costume pieces, but they seem to keep holding off on those.

I am actually hugely suprised they got around to color power customization before back details since back details wont be moving or anything. The back details are actually a huge reason why I am checking out CO.

I know its something so small but its a small feature which is a duh and should already be here and yet I cant fully create the characters I want (or make the comic I've been waiting to make for a year) without it. Its just not fully there or complete.


Besides that I wish we had more emotes but thats not a huge one to me.

if nothing else its been worth it just for the carebear tears
