...the insanity that is Justice.
Currently debating if I want to undertake installing CoH to drop in for re-activation weekend. -
Thanks for all the farewells. As Tal's image compels, *grouphug*!
/sniffle -
For the first time in 64 months, I'm not going to have an active CoH account. I've had some previous lulls in playing but, sadly, this time I'm probably not going to be coming back.
Thanks very much to all the friends and communities that have made CoH on Justice such a wonderful part of my life for the past five years. You guys seriously rock!
Please PM me if you'd like my contact info. I'd love to catch y'all in other games in the future. -
I'm a hard-core gamer trapped in the body of a casual gamer.

Sorry I missed this first time around. Hope the birthday was great!

Given that we don't have a dining room--it was turned into the computer room--my computer desk is where I eat 90% of my meals. Pretty much anything that can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, or supper has been eaten here. The trick is to make sure you've turned all your food into stuff that can be shoveled quickly into your face with one hand. Don't forget to make like a squirrel: your cheeks are useful storage areas! Room temperature food is also the norm.
My grandmother would be so ashamed of my table manners these days. -
Adding to Sam's list:
The folks who don't say much at all, but joined JFA2010 the day after Q created it.
Too bad being leader in building the community is often synonymous with pasting a target on oneself, but I, for one, certainly appreciate their efforts. -
Quote:Well, speaking as someone who's currently wearing braces on both wrists, yes, it is painful.I never realized what torture it is to move one's fingers and hands. Especially for those of us who play video games, the repetitive moving of our upper extremities is tantamount to running a marathon in plate mail in the Amazon.
I'm about to skew off into a cranky old geezer moment of "when you're my age and have spent as much time in front of a computer as I have", but let's leave it there. -

Quote:Thanks for the guide and link, TJ, very helpful. I'm still trying to figure out if there's a way to "show all" posts in a thread rather than having to page through (multiple pages is a peeve of mine).
Edit: Okay, so you can up the # of message/page to 100. Helps a little. Now I'm trying to see if there's any way to have clicked vs. unclicked links change color.
Hope you can get some sleep. -
I forget who said it, George Carlin maybe, and I'm too lazy to look it up:
There're two types of drivers: idiots and morons. Idiots are anyone going faster than you; morons are anyone going slower.
So very, very true. -

Yeah, none of this colour nonsense.
See! Even Firefox says it's spelled wrong.

Set your spell checker to British English and you'll be fine.
Now if I could only understand why my work laptop occasionally sets my spell check to French... -
I like seeing this thread arise again and again; brings back fond memories.
Way back in Issue 1, several family members decided to try CoH. I came along for the ride as usual, and again as usual the family was getting bored after a few months and moving to decamp. So one day I found myself alone in Founders Falls, hunting 5th Column Vampyri, and I saw in broadcast that some folks needed help with Nosferatu. Given prior MMO experiences and the previous availability of family, I hadn't yet joined a PUG, but Nossy fit my theme for the day, so I thought, "why not?"
Thus my first CoH PUG consisted of Miss Informed, Jack Zodiac, Tayuya, and Blackfire. And here I am now with a 60 month vet badge...hm...
