Char Copy down?

Been like this going on two weeks now. Try sending a PM to Avatea.

I just gave up and burned a respec on live. Fortunatly it came out alright.

Unfortunately it is still down as we speak. I'll be updating this thread once it is back up. Thank you for your patience.

We are not only looking to fix it but also to modify it slightly. Apologies for the wait, we will keep you posted when we can push it live again.

The Character Copy tool is now available again and has undergone some changes. It is now part of the Forums and as soon as we have the thumbs up, it'll be included to the forums just like the Dev Digest for instance.

Is the Char Copy Tool down at the moment? I tried to copy characters from the Zukunft server to the European Training Room during the last three days, but when I select the server and click at "Go" it always says "The selected service is currently unavailable."

Sorry all. We're in touch with the relevant team to get it back up and running as soon as possible. The recent server move is requiring additional work before the copy tool can resurrect. I will keep you posted

Less just that, but more that certain members of our little EU community have been very vocal about its brokenyness since the start of i19 OB.

Yeah theres bugs to be tackled. But is it the same persons job to deal with those horrid inherant powers problems as it was to deal with this?

It would be really nice to have been able to use a currently active character with a decent built to test this. I dont mean a purpled out machine, just the choice of what I had on test was pretty poor.

We definitely appreciate that this was not conducive to an optimal test environment for you all. We usually manage to make it available for European betas but on this occasion, specifically because of the data centre move, we have not been able to and I don't believe we will be able to this week, I'm really sorry about that.

Don't worry about it Av, most of the complainers are no doubt only complaining because they can't test out respecs before launch.

You may have noticed that the European Copy tool is once again accessible on the forums. We are indeed working towards resolving its unavailability but we still need to perform some work on it before it can function properly. I'll post again once we're done fixing it. The European Character Copy tool is now back up and running!

Scheduled some characters for copying (to look at the Strike Pack) but while the tool no longer says that they are queued to copy, the characters have yet to arrive.

Can we have a check to make sure it's working correct EU-side (as I need to pop a L50 Incarnate version of MZ up there)

Having gone inside the server I don't see any trace of the Strike Pack Master Z. So, even if the copy tool is borked (again) there is no apparent reason to go there.

Unless you meant the US test server, in which case you're posting on the wrong thread.

You're absolutely right Master Z. My bad. And the copy tool does indeed seem to be down. The characters I slotted for copy at lunch time haven't gone over yet.

Ok, I don't have anything to copy over at the moment, because I'm too busy for testing...

But, seriously; What. The. Smeg?

Every damned big issue, EU character test transfer goes down. Without fail. You could set your clock by it.
