It's an assumption. Given that Positron has said that we're going to see the return of previous events, it seems quite likely, though.

Unfortunately, we have yet to be reactivated. This is coming from a former CoX member who hasn't played since 2006...good times. I've been interested in coming back for a while, and this Veteran come back has interested me.
However, my account is still set to inactive(on a seperate plaync account with a buddy key on to post) and It'd be nice to know when it's active
I've even recieved an email 1 hour ago about the reactivation, but nothing on mine and my bro's account.

I think someone must have forgotten to turn on the reactivation, its an odd time for it to happen (and about 30 mins after I put a ticket in to support asking when it would be up and running)

Don't worry I'm not staying. I'm not paying £8.99/month to play a 5 year old game which still runs like [censored] on my fairly new PC.
Fantastic bit of self-promotion by the devs
As soon as I started reading about the anniversary, I was going to reactivate my account (been thinking about it since before i14 went live), but then I read about the free reactivation so I decided to hold off and get an extra week free...
I had 11am to 5pm available as a solid block to play and hopefully view some of the events from the first year and a half of the game, which were before my time. Instead, my account was reactivated sometime after 6pm, and by annoying the wife, I was able to get half an hour later on, but the game was so laggy I could barely move around and didn't see anything of the anniversary event at all!
Way to go devs! If you think this makes me more likely to come back and spend my money here, forget it!
Anyone have any knowledge as to whether accounts are going to be reactivated at all for issue 14? Went searching but couldnt find any information on it
