Magic Booster Pack Costume Change Emote Keybinds

From BAB's post:

Hope you guys are enjoying the costume change emotes that are part of the Magic booster pack. There have been questions here on the forums about using these outside of the costume selection screen, and the answer is "Yes. There is a console command for activating these."

The command is /cc_e or /cc_emote ('costume change emote')

The full syntax is:
/cc_e [costumeSlotSlot#] [emoteName]

There are a couple of important notes. One, the costume slot numbers start with 0. So your first costume slot is 0, your 2nd is 1, 3rd is 2, etc. Two, you need to use the actual emote name, not the display name that you see in the costume select screen's rollout. For the magic pack, these are:

CCPrestoChango - “Presto Chango”

CCLightning - “Lightning”

CCSpin - “Spin”

CCCast - “Cast”

Example:
/cc_e 1 cclightning
Will switch you to your 2nd costume slot, using the "Lightning" costume change emote.

As part of a macro or bind:
/local ABRACADABRA!$$cc_e 1 ccPrestoChango

Other than that, the normal rules for costume changes apply. You can only switch costumes once every Edit:15 seconds. If you try to use a costume change emote sooner or try to switch to the costume slot you're already in, it won't work. You'll look foolish, and everyone will laugh at you.

Cheers!

Ah, excellent. I was trying to figure this out but missed putting the cc at he start of the emote name.

These emotes are excellent.

BABS wrong on one point tho, cossie changes are every 15 secs now, not 30.

I could not change my cossie with 16 secs left on timer, but clicking again a second later and it worked.

Very nice.... BUT... is there any macro for this thing? I've tried it but I can only make 2 changes of costume properly, the rest there's a pink "unknown command cce 1" or 2 or whatever, so my toon only change from a costume to one another, nothing else.

It's cc_e, not cce

cce is the exakt same thing as cc_e, the _ are just there to break apart long commands for easier spelling.

you could by all means just type c_c_e if you wish.

or p_o_w_e_x_e_c_n_a_m_e powexec_name or just powexecname (edit: i did typo the last one )

See I've been told that in this game for years, but when I don't type it in exactly as cc_e or powexec_name, it NEVER works for me...

I find that weird, Aardvark, becuase as soon as I found out that the "_" weren't needed, I first /facepalmed, then stopped using them altogether, and they always work for me.

_ in binds are totally optional.

I've no idea why you'd be having trouble when you leave them out Aardy.

powexecname works fine, most of my binds omit the _ to save on space.

I like the _ in binds though, they make them tidy

They were appropriately appalled

They're now putting it all together.

Eight legs, one body, silk,

What do you know? It's working now!

Granted, I haven't tried it since flight poses came out, but it's definitely working now.

I'm still going to use the underscore though, because like Cynic, I think it looks neater.

While on the subject of the new emotes, can I just say how much I love:

/em jugglemagic

(also comes as: /em jugglefire, /em juggleelectricity, and /em juggleballs. Also nice: /em cardtrick)

Is it time for the dance of joy yet?

Just found them myself - doing the Dead Man's Deck arc too, so it's getting some usage

These are very pretty emotes. I'll always have something to do at the Black Market/Wentworths

And the timer will be changed back to 30 seconds to avoid a crash which can happen with the 15 second costume change.

By the way, BAB has said they're working on getting them costume change ones to work while flying or hovering.

[/ QUOTE ]

They work for me while flying - you just halt in mid air to change and have to manually move off again.

The annoying thing is when I hit one of the binds (standing, running, flying, whatever) and the emote either doesn't fire or half-fires without the pyrotechnics, then the character's costume change catches up about 5 seconds later with no animation to match.
