It is true that the other 98% is rarely worth reading, but it isn't really "Atlas Park Broadcast" anymore. It's "Architect Entertainment broadcast". Plus, it's just annoying.

Those few times I have been online since I14 went live Atlas been... "MA farm team forming!", "MA team NOWZ!", "MA is our lord and savior!", "MA farm team forming!"... "MA farm team forming!" and last but not least... "MA farm team forming!". *Facepalm*
It does get annoying after a while.

Isn't that kind of the point broadcast is just the general chat channel for people shouting out announcing things on it such as MA runs seems like a perfectly reasonable use of it.

There is a difference between chat and spam.
Chat we like.
Spam... Not so much.
But if the (vocal)majority are using it for MA then that's what its for add to the fact that broadcast has pretty much always been filled with some form of spam and i don't see what some one spamming MA requests matters.
are we saying that one type of spam is better than another?

I don't like the thought of AE people being shunned just for trying to have fun wwith a new aspect of the game.
What about personal text-string suppression? Or even highlighting?
So, like, you can supress the phrase " AE " and/or " MA " (spaces included) which would get rid of any messages looking for AE or MA groups.
On the other side, you could also set it up to highlight sentances which include the phrase "LFT" AND any digit within 2 numbers of your level, so that people who are looking for a team around your level get their text highlighted on your chatscreen.
On a seperate highlight string you could put "sewers" so that anyone who's looking to get down and dirty could be highlighted
See I always avoided Atlas before cause I hated the spam there, now its somehow managed to get worse. Its really special that they put the building there cause it at least keeps most of the pointless annoying shouting in one place, but its not good if you actually want to use the MA I guess, or Atlas itself

Could we somehow contain broadcast chat in Atlas? I only say this because it's currently being spammed with heroes of every AT and level, all of which are "LF Architect Team". That's damned useful if you're trying to put one together, but not as useful if you're trying to experience the other 98% of Atlas. I don't know how this could be changed, but I'd be interested in some form of shh.
