Musurana, my Tanker, who you've already met Pious, works as a PPD officer most of the time.
She's skilled with both blunt weapons and shields, and it pays well (better than Hero-work), while basically being the same duties.
Except sometimes when her fellow Heroes call in a 'raid' or somesuch, she prefers the blue uniform over her usual green-scaled latex.

Luisa Beckett, my somewhat hyperactive PB, is in the PPD. Quite how she even got in before she became a PB, though, is a bit of a mystery, largely because she's something of a dopey bugger.
Think of her as a Brazilian-American Excel Excel with energy powahs... if she joined the police force instead of the secret idealogical organisation of ACROSS. :\

She actually started out as a practical joke towards a friend *giggles*...but turned out to be reasonably important to a plot I was working on for another hero... *sighs*.

I know the feeling. Its great that we have many police officers and detective characters. I'm hoping to do a string of open roleplay 'investigative' plots. I'm still working on the story, layout and supply of clues, structure of play and possibly incorporating Mission Architect. Is there anyone with experience in this sort of plot, send me a private message please, could use some advice. I'm hoping most of you will join me on this open RP project?
I have Felix Greene, a now retired detective who has gone private. He's colourblind and monologues outloud without realising it. He's more of a jokey 'now and again' roleplay character and he's not in the PPD anymore, but I thought I'd throw him in anyway.
Emily One is a bit of a conspiracy nut (Although in CoH most of the conspiracy's are true!) who usually handles missing person's cases, corporate crime and all the other types of cerebral missions that the mostly 'I like to hit people' hero community ignore.
She works loosely with the police and army, being in good standing with both as a person who gets things done.
I can offer Jennifer Sula/Wavekite for this plot if wanted, although she's generally stuck behind a desk when working for the PPD due to her mutation. Also she's currently unavailable in-game due to geographical displacement on my part.

Am I too late? Helena Hammond works for GIFT and has been known to do some 'investigative' work for them along the lines of a CSI-style thingy. So she's not a police officer although it was a direction I might take her in, seeing as she's also a psychic and she'd look good in a PPD Psychic uniform

I have a PPD character - well, he has a PPD badge. It's The Walking Shadow, and he has developed in my mind into a very Rorshach'esque character. He's got the whole complete secret identity thing going on (although i might change this, unsure at the mo), and specialises in hunting down cases with strange and sometimes brutal demises. His reasons are unknown.
Also i want to get into writing in a film noir style with this toon. If you want him there, he's available.
The first arc is almost finished but I've got about a dozen planned so you're welcome to join anytime.
The next arc will be called Siege at Steel Canyon.
I got a PPD officer codenamed Tough Justice. At least, that's what I *think* his name is. Havn't used him in about a month. Anywho, he's part of the Hero Assistance and Recovery Division. But, first and formost, an officer of the law! (basically, I have only done radio mishes with him)
The murder case is still going at full bloom and later today I'm going to open the next arc, Siege at Steel Canyon - May 2nd. Like Stone Fist, anyone is welcome to join at any time, heroes and civilians alike, especially police-related characters. See you in the movi-, I mean, roleplays!
