Idea for Mastermind Henchman Customization
This is a suggestion forum.
Someone posted this topic because they wanted to know if it would be a welcome addition to the city of heroes product.
So far, everyone has agreed that it would be welcomed.
The only thing everyone is complaining about, is the amount of effort required to impliment. Which is nothing the players should be worrying about anyhow.
You either want the feature, or you dont.
Lets not confuse the issue with what might be technical, or development barriers, those are for development to get past.
Azmodan - 50 - Storm/Energy Blast Defender
Baaleos - 50 - Gravity/Power Blast Dominator
Orici - 50 - Fortunata
Psi'on - 44 - Kinetics/Psionic Defender
Azazeel - 40 - Warshade
Bloody-Ice - 31 - Ice/Cold Domination Corruptor

[/ QUOTE ]This is also far from a NEW or ORIGINAL suggestion, it's been suggested repeatedly in the past. The devs are very well aware that we want such a feature, and they've been aware of it for quite a while now.

Alas - it was not in the frequently suggestion thread - so its not the thread posters fault.
Besides, im just saying I wouldnt mind it being implimented at some point. So its got my thumbs up.
Its not a bad suggestion, might not be very original, but definitly not a bad suggestion.

It is power customisation, and hence it is included in the frequent suggestions post.
I know this suggestion is old, because I suggested it myself during CoV closed beta.
I really should do something about this signature.
Perhaps the entry in the frequent suggestions thread should be updated so that it indicates that MM pets are included under the heading of power customisation.
Not that I'm saying that it should no longer be suggested i think that its important that every so often suggestion are repeated just to keep the idea fresh especially when something new is added that looks as if it could maybe be used to achieve the desired effect after all you never know some one out there may spot something the Devs didn't or it may get the Devs looking at something from another direction.

They either need to update the Frequent suggestions then, or give the Search function some functionality

I am still keeping my pen in the pocket on this one, cause I think, commanding a couple of thorns, arachnos,etc. would mean ure kinda down with the villain group and involved in their hierarchy. Some of these mobs just have trademark looks, that could never be seperated from the villain group.
I would like it if uu could have allegiances with villain groups and because of that get acces to their mobs, but that would mean the implementation of a whole new system
so I am hesitant to approve of this.

I think this is the major problem with having Mobs as pets it gets difficult to justify it would work with Archnos purley because there all at each others throats and it wouldn't be a stretch for a charismatic leader to sway some to his own particular version of what lord recluses plan is but the rest are more difficult (I'm not saying impossible because i can think of a few ways)

If difficulty and practicality are there for the devs to worry about, rather than us point out potential problems, it gets a bit unbalanced if you're still free to announce some there's no good reason not to do some things. Devs decide the good...
