Newbie Q: Mayhem missions, 1 try only?
you just need to do 3 more paper missions and you will be offered another mayhem
@Mister
Mister Volcano lvl50 Tank SA/FM
Silver Sight lvl 50 Controller Mind/Kin
Cryogenic lvl 50 Tank Ice/Stone
Winters Night lvl 50 Corrupter Ice/Dark
Chaos Agent lvl50 Brute EM/EA
Ahh.. thanks.
Will it be a different one though, or will I have the chance to try the old one again?
That depends on you level. Every 5 level the mission change.
I am level 9 so I am guessing I will miss it then. Fair enough
Thanks for the help everyone

There is an option where you turn of experience. That way you can keep doing the mayhem mission until you get it right.
A piece of friendly advice: Go slow. Don't rush towards the bank. Just destroy everything on your path towards the bank and you should end up with near 30 minutes when you get there. Plenty of time to rob the bank, finish off the hero and do some sidemissions afterwards if you feel like it. You'll even have time to die and fight your way out of the prison that way
Also, especially in the low levels, do the missions solo or in a small group (3 people max). It'll both be a lot easier to gather time and to deal with the ambushes that way.

@GrinningSpade - !Thank you, I will look into it because I like to have completed things
@TrueMetal - Oooh, friendly advice very welcome, thank you! And I have been soloing everything so far, so it's nice to hear it is an okay idea.
Is everyone here so helpful? I'd have been flamed to death for being a n00b on the WOW forums already
That's because here we know that there are no noobs, only inexperienced veterans - which we all were once
So welcome to the game and the forums - if you need any help, you can contact me on my global chat handle @Golden Girl - I'm on Defaint server, and don't play Villains, but can still give you general verbal advice if needed

Heh, I like 'inexperienced veterans', I'll use that
Yes we are. New blood (more players to play with = wohoo )
I know its been said already, but welcome to the game and welcome to the forums.
If you have questions, dont be shy in asking them here or if you need some questions answered ingame...

The other option of course is to team with another villain who still has the mission and run it with them.
Oh and Welcome
Send a tell @destoroyah for teaming and bad puns
Welcome to the game and the forum!
The advice you've already been given is spot-on, so I won't bother reiterating it here. As far as the friendliness of this forum is concerned - we tend to be a pretty friendly bunch. There are a few flaming arguments that crop up every once in a while (mentioning the-current-state-of-PvP/Farming/Power-Levelling seems bring out the worst in many people here), but we know that newbies like yourself (as already said - you're not a n00b. You simply can't be, because you're clearly interested in learning what you can) are a source of even more enjoyment of our favourite game.
I'm @Shadowe or @Luminescence on Union server, one of the heathen Roleplayers that pop up every now and then. I'm happy to give general advice, too.
The wisdom of Shadowe: Ghostraptor: The Shadowe is wise ...; FFM: Shadowe is no longer wise.

Welcome to the game and forums.
If you ever try to go blue side on Union give me a shout from @Knightly and i will try my best to help you.
Safeguard missions (hero side bank missions) are easier btw. Hero ATs generally not solo friendly tho' but you will find teams easily most of the time.
Have fun,
Knightly
As others have said, you'll get plenty of chances to do more mayhem missions. It's worth taking your time on those though, rack up as much time as you can by destroying things before trying the vault. If you run straight to the bank you'll have a trail of longbow on your tail and that won't be a lot of fun at all.
I am brand new to playing and I recently failed my first mayhem mission as a villain (though only just!). I was gutted to find I don't seem to be able to retry it, especially since it was such a close thing. Am I missing something? Will I ever be able to?
