when random people comment on your cossie...
May I be the first to say "wrong"
And may I be the first to agree with the above poster.....my bill for the mind cleaners is in the post
My eyes! It burns!
I always receive people commenting on my costumes, I think people know who I am when they see my costume, i'm like "Oh hii", lol.
Sometimes you never know if its a compliment though. ^^
I get loads of compliments and 'kool outift' comments (mainly coz I mix n match the uber cossies in vet rewards & add-on packs) - but only ever seem to come 4th place in costume contests....*sigh*
back to the drawing board.
oh, and wrong...very, very, scarily wrong
I get the old 'cool cossie' as well. On quite a few of my toons. I figure I must have a cossie designing 'flare'
I get a few of those too, though I balk at the wolf whistling and "I so would" comments. C'mon, it's just pixels. Control your hormones...
Is it time for the dance of joy yet?
Too me it's too much unhealthy time watching a man in a skirt from behind.
Why is it I only do female characters?
He will honor his words; he will definitely carry out his actions. What he promises he will fulfill. He does not care about his bodily self, putting his life and death aside to come forward for another's troubled besiegement. He does not boast about his ability, or shamelessly extol his own virtues. - Sima Qian.
I got stopped the other day and actually got asked to pose for a screenshot...

Its so unfortunate sarcasm doesn't come across well in text eh BB
I'm never quite sure what to think when someone compliments a costume of mine - especially when its one I plan to change.
Ialways make it a point to tell people if I think their character looks good. With the huge number of options in the creator it takes a lot of effort yo get a look "just right" so I think they should get recognition for that. At cossie comps I usually have a look at all entrants and send a tell to the one I would choose if I were the judge.
Some people comment on my costumes. Normally "Why?"

For Starters I would shorten his legs. The man looks like he is wearing stilts. The legs are not in a good proportion to his body.
Further, with classic costumes you want classic footwear. Should be sandals or as you have opted a brownish color for the clothing look for boots with a fur or rough leather look. The problem now is that the boots look modern while his clothing is old.
Of course you can always forget about togas and kilts and go tuxedo. Tuxedo is always good, trust me on that.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I think the only thing is the bottoms & boots of the costume is a bit off. Everything else looks good.
