MZ's Mastermind Control System v2.5
nice this will come in handy thanks
hello..
after a while being offline(from the game completely ), i have now started playing again with my mastermind.
but i have a little problem with the bindings. hopefully you can help me with that.
i am using the numeric key-pad for controlling my pets and when i am selecting them individually, the system always responds with the key-binding-textline in the upper chat window ... this is really annoying and i know for sure, this did not happen in the past.
any idea how to find out to suppress this or an option somewhere to turn this off ?
thanks
Cessus
Unfortunately not - was something they popped in a little while back. I don't find it too galling once you're used to it.
Hiya Master_Z, I recently got my MM to 50 and was using your guide to settup macro's alot of the things you wrote helped me but I wonder if you could explain more in your guides about macro's opposed to binds, I play many characters and binds are no use to me as i forget what buttons are bound to what.
Also, creating my own macro's I have managed to work out from your guides but it took a while to understand the whole petcom_all / petcom_pow thing... and how they are meant to be typed.
Think I have it now tho, so ta for everything.
Consciousness: that annoying time between naps.
@Master_Zaprobo:
thanks for your reply.
so at least i know, it has not something to do with my bindings are somewhat wrong.
to bad, that there is no way to "block" it somehow.
but i wonder, why it worked fine in the past and why they changed it ? are you sure its not a "bug" or was this intended ? maybe somewhere mentioned in any patchnotes ?
well, just curious, as for me its really annoying to "spam" my chatbox while controlling my pets.
maybe i get used to it too, but for now, i am really trying to find a solution.
regards
Cessus

Isn't their a bind_load_file_quiet command or something? I could have sworn there was?
*Edit : Try this : bind_load_file_silent
@Carnifax:

i just tried it and it worked

Would this work for a mac? If so, exactly how would I go about making it work?

Too many alts to list.
This control systems uses a set of text files dynamically loaded whenever a group of henchmen are selected. Editing the commands is easier than a /bind setup as once the file system is in place, any changes you make to the files are updated automatically simply by using the system.
You can download the set from here... http://zap-robo.net/coh/mmbinds/mz_completemmbinds.zip Setup Instructions 1. Extract all files to C:\mmpetbinds 2. In the game, activate the system by issuing one for the following commands: For Necromancers... /bind_load_file c:\mmpetbinds\Necro.txt For Robotics... /bind_load_file c:\mmpetbinds\Robot.txt For Mercenaries... /bind_load_file c:\mmpetbinds\Mercs.txt For Ninjas... /bind_load_file c:\mmpetbinds\Ninja.txt For Thugs... /bind_load_file c:\mmpetbinds\Thugs.txt I. GROUP CONTROL 1. Hold down the left Alt key 2. Select a group using the following keys: Q=Tier One, W=Tier Two, E=Tier Three, R=All 3. Choose a stance for that group: A=Aggressive, S=Defensive, D=Passive or G=Bodyguard (Def/Fol) 4. Give a command to that group: Z=Attack, X=Follow, C=Halt, V=All Stop (Pas/Halt) or Left Click=Goto The current group you select will remain active, as will the command and stance given that group, until you change it. The Goto command will work immediately, and send the required group to the point that you click. II. INDIVIDUAL CONTROL 1. Target the individual henchman 2. Hold down the left Ctrl key 3. Choose a stance for that henchman: A=Aggressive, S=Defensive, D=Passive or G=Bodyguard (Def/Fol) 4. Give a command to that henchman: Z=Attack, X=Follow, C=Halt, V=All Stop (Pas/Halt) or Left Click=Goto |
Still works fine - used it a couple of days ago when I created my new Demon Summoning files and /bind_load_file'd them.
As an aside, I'll add the Demon Summoning files in ASAP - which could do with some beta testing for the higher level ones (since my DS MM is a lowbie).
The bind /load_bind_file is outdated and doesn't work for me. Has this been taken out or is there a new command for it? |

Is there another link to the zip in the OP, no longer seems to be there for me....
Seconded, the link is broken. I use to use the hell out of these binds on my older machine!
