Fire is a greatly underrated tank set.
Although be aware that a lot of your survivability comes from healing flames.

I feel my Def is a little low, but maybe I would be relying on buffs to get that up? If my numbers seem a little off, its because it took me 3 years in WoW to realise that ALL MMO's are a numbers game if you want to beat the oddss, but I try to have fun in with the mix.... ;p

Your resistance and healing flames will be what gives you your survivability.
Don't worry too much about the Def, you would not be able to get enough to make that huge a difference in any case.

Just another thought, but if you are only going to be tanking for a duo, then there is no need to maximize defence to that extent.

Did consider trying to put a bit of damage buff in there but I wasn't sure it was worth it considering how little the power does. So I just tried to put as much accuracy and recharge in as pos.
Every 10 seconds isn't so bad.. is that just on the 'immob' area or do the vines fire procs as well when they attack? -

I guess I will have to crowbar in Squid somewhere. But that is going to be very tough on slots. -
Hey all,
I've been considering slotting this power recently and have a general query...
Has anyone tried damage procs in there and how well do they fire?
I've noticed that it can take 3 damage procs which could put out a lot of damage.
Here is how I am considering slotting the power:
Posi's Blast: Chance of Damage(Energy), Enfeebled Operation: Accuracy/Recharge, IO: Recharge, Trap of the Hunter: Acc/Recharge, Impeded Swiftness: Chance of Damage(Smashing), Trap of the Hunter: Chance of Damage(Lethal)
This would give 53% Accuracy and 92% recharge with a small bonus to immob as a set bonus.
Anyone tried this? -

Hey all, after getting my Warshade to 16 and having a blast I've decided to keep at it.
Being rather puzzled about the powers/slotting and life I could do with some advice.

It does need a lot I think, the set IOs are mainly there for the enhancement bonus'.

I play a lot on Defiant and Union and in my experience you find this kind of player everywhere unfortunately.
And I suspect a lot of them are looking forward to migrating to Union too, for the opportunity of more players to teach how to do it proper. -
