Give us back our MoG! Please?

Afraid not. You need to create animations for every power individually. Doing so means changing every keyframe so that it not only works, but looks right. This is why Shields took so long.

No, sod 'em. It's going on The List. After I've marched up to NCSoft and called out and defeated Jay in the style of Achilles from the film Troy on the issue of loincloths, Castle is getting the same.

Never liked the old MoG, still don't like the new MoG.
The old one killed regeneration and wiped your HP to a minimum, going against everything a regen stands for. The new one lasts a mere 15 seconds, rendering it useless for anything but very short assaults. I'd like to see it revamped somehow to make it more useful, but it seems im in the minority of players who dislike the new MoG.
Of course, none of this makes much difference because Regen is now the most worthless PvP build ever thanks to the -regen property of travel suppression.

But... since PvP is a minority sport also, that makes Regen perfectly good for most people.

Sorry to disagree, Techbot bud, but I had the old version and hardly used it because:
1)When I had to fall back on it I usually ended up chewing shagpile anyway
2)It didn't fit with the regen set
I've also got the new version and use it much, much, much more often - it fits nicely with my primary power set (DM)and it fits much more comfortably with the regen concept.
I'd be unhappy to go back to the old version so my vote would be for keeping the new version with apologies to Techie A

I smell some sort of boxing match(es) to determine NCSoft development priorities here. Someone get it organised!

The overall problem with old MoG was that even though you gained insane amounts of Def and Res the -HP and -heal was too much. It is true though, that the old MoG was better against single targets. Why? That's easy. It takes a single target a lot longer to activate 20 powers (5% hit chance) to hit you once than it takes, 3, 5 or 10 mobs to do the same.
With your HP dropped down to 10% (IIRC) the res/def just werent enough against multiple targets.

I think the duration should be increased at least. Even fully setted up with.....sets. You can pushed the recharge to about 60 secs, leaving you vulnrable for 45 secs. Even with alot of purple sets, that recharge only drops to about 50 seconds.
Instant Healing seems to recharge to long also, and as the name implies doesnt infact instantly heal like reconstruction, 2 mins recharge with hasten and a couple of recharge IO's seems too long. Should make it a toggle with alot of end use per sec, and rename in my opinion.
Resilience seems to be almost pointless too, stun protection you don't need because of intergration, and meager smash/lethal/toxic resistance. Why bother?

That's the point. You are not meant to be perma-unkillable.
I really should do something about this signature.
That was my bad, forgot the n't on "shouldn't". Ment to say its enough on it. Throw MoG on jump in mob -> Repeat

That's what Instant Healing used to be. Can't remember exctly when it changed, but it was back during the 'oh noes, they nerfed my Regen again' days.
However, it turned out that Smith was not a time-travelling Terminator
It used to be a toggle.

I quite liked Resilience, whenevr i used an awaken i never had the stun period and could get back to fighting immideatly, without having to save a break free.

Yeah, and even better that Regen only has one toggle to activate. It can get quite amusing when a regen with Revive and half a tray of Awakens just keeps getting back up like nothing happened. They're like bloody weebles....

Come to think of it, the only buff Regen really needs is some animation tweaks so it doesn't cause redraw. The exact same animations would suffice but with the weapon arm remaining by the side. I refuse to believe we live in a world of 3D animation so utterly cumbersome an existing one can't be modified.
That's about the only reason I don't play Regen (though the ruinous Integration aura helps), because I can't be bothered with the redraw, even worse considering the Scrapper primaries are laden with weapons.
