How about just holding your hands up and saying "sorry all i messed up pvp but maybe this will help until i can fix it"
You could find that would go down better with the players after all everyone makes mistakes.
While this is ok i would still rather they fixed what we have ,arena pvp is all well and good but EU side most pvp is done in the zones.
Personally I think the solution is staring them in the face for high end zonal pvp If the Devs wish to pursue these new changes or simply agree to compromise.
The engineers and equipment are both sides of the portal at the entrance to RV, you should talk to an engineer/click on control panel and dial in (*uses StarGate terminology) whatever RV Instance/rules you want. That way if you want a team battle/event/farm based on how you like the zone...you can. Personally I'd always be clicking on 'unrestricted'.
Ps: while you're at it guys, please give us a properly devastated Atlas Park/RV warzone. something resembling a nuclear battlefield with uneven map ground, tunnels, a city hall in flames/being reconstructed (whichever way the zone is being won), devastated skyscrapers and basically more a feel of a GvE ground/air war as opposed to a rehash of Atlas park.

This is all well and good, but zone PvP isn't getting dealt with.
I agree with others, Posi is basically saying "OK we did it wrong but I can't admit it so I'll ignore it and introduce this so we can make it pre-I13" which in my mind says "So, Posi, why didn't you look over the changes you made?"

People having their own instances will just break down an already non existent pvp population into even smaller non existent pvp groups.
If you want organised fights have them in the arena, why cant he just put the poxy zones back as they were.

Anyway, this is the best of both worlds, if I can do away with diminishing returns on set bonus' and the new Mez rules but keep the bonus resistances and travel suppression, that'd be kinda fun.
Now... about fixing Blaster damage.

On a serious note though, i'd be happy to contribute anything i can to a PvP test ladder. If X4 can get new people into PvP then i can't see why this wouldn't. Anybody reading this thread interested in this?
Just on a side note, i was reading a post by Ex Libris today (quite and old post mind) saying that there was a lack of PvP beta testing which resulted in the dev's not getting enough data which was partly the reason for things going live that are now getting changed.
I know the dev's have beta requirements and invite who they need/want into beta, so where was the EU PvP'ers beta invites? I'm 90% certain no EU PvP'er got an invite as i know most of them and i would've known about it NDA or no NDA. I know the US servers have a vast quantity of PvP'ers compared to us but ours are (sorry, were) the most dedicated in my opinion.
If Spag and Globe for example were in beta and said something wasn't working then it wasn't working, same thing goes if they said a change was working. They know what they're talking about and every PvP'er trusts their knowledge.
Maybe next time the dev's epicly change something they should look at all of their paying customers for input not just the ones closest to home. Maybe that way they'll get the data they want.

Of course this thing went live to get enough feedback.
There was no way it couldn't, even if every single PvP'er played around with it it's still too small of a group in my opinion.
Far more people'd have a look at it on Live than would on Test.
