Why dont we merge with the US version of the game?

Couldn't you just post in one of the several dozen OTHER threads about this, instead of starting a whole new thread?
There are a myriad number of reasons why not. Try reading one of the other threads about it.

This has indeed been discussed quite a lot of time. Every week or so to be honest. Better read the old threads, then comment on those.
At the moment the discussions are at a stand still. Some, like me, are very much in favour for this while others are equally as strong in disfavour against it. Neither side seems to be able to convince the other side at the moment. Despite numerous attempts to do so. A new thread about the subject wont change that fact.

5 full teams on the sunday raids (Defiant!) says otherwise. All a matter of perspective. Personally, when few of my globals are on, and my chat channels are quiet, I *feel* quite alone, and get the impression that things are quiet. however, the fact that a lot of people use /hide, are in instances, etc, aids to that illusion.

Actually I got a tell from you yesterday afternoon about joining my team Super Sidekick, but we were full up at the time. 2 mins later I went looking for you again when a spot opened up, but you'd logged I think 
I don't think I've been logged on for more than 4 minutes in the last week and failed to get at least one Tell asking if I'm LFT, it's insane! And that's with a 30-something toon as well, which used to be the teaming doldrums for me.
I think it's partially down to me not flitting madly between toons and actually sticking with one most of the time, my WS is showing up on a few Friends lists or something and getting PuGs from that.
So feel free to stick Dark Quasar onto your Friends list and shout if you're looking again.
*Edit : I'd still like to have a merged server group though, Villains is still too solo-esque for my liking
I'm actually thinking that maybe GR should find one of the longer/better/more informative server merger threads and sticky it. I mean, it's about once a week these days...

I don't think you are going to scare this one off any time soon.
Not sure what server you are on mate, but I'm usually around on Union most nights, and end up on a team. Feel free to add @Dave N Smith to your globals.
I would suggest when you find people in a team you like, add em to your globals and suddenly the world looks busier. 
However, to add to that, a server list merge with the US servers sounds good to me.
Jeez louise, ok if...and I stress if my post was a cause of annoyance then that was not what I intended, if anyone has seen my previous posts I am a staunch supporter of the game and the community therein.
It was simply (possibly skewed) an attempt at levety to the fact that as others noted, this is an ongoing weekly occurance that is becoming old hat 
Now on the other hand if the OP is a new player and doesnt know this then I apologise if what seemed to be baiting, ....wasnt aimed at you....and if you are reading this OP, then just have patience, ive been here for 2 years almost now and there are allways lulls.
Bear in mind this is a 4 yr old game that has one of the best communities compared to others, stick with it and eventually youll break that wall and enter a rich world full of mental cossies, hardcore badge-ing, uber sillyness during fun tfs (auto running into av's on squishys etc) nights of inane sillyness at GG, and other related insanity
This game is much much more than it seems at first glance, its like walking into a club with a few mumbling regulars at the bar, only to stumble through a side door and catch the hidden weekly mental basement rave.
However I still stand by rabbits song for those who know better

I completely understand everyone feeling attached to there servers.
I have been playing since issue 3 on union, the server holds a special place in my heart.
However i have been playing on the american servers for about 3 weeks now, and it truely is a different game! it takes me back to how Union used to be in the old days, maybe a bit of nostalgia, but everything is alot more soical.
Food for thought i suppose.

I have always wondered why we cant join the US on-line game across the pond, there are more players on-line than the EU game by far. You cant even transfer players over as I have many lvl 50's in the US game. I used to play the US game and thought it was fantastic so I decided to buy a few freinds and my family in Europe the game but could only get the EU version so I switched over and thought it would be the same but its not, there is only a handful of players on-line.
Also why do we have two servers (ENG) Union and Defiant why not combine the two so that there are more players on at the same time.
What are the peak times to play this game?
The game here is dead IMO.
