It's around 200 miles from Rhode Island to Canadian border - on the other side you can drink legally at 18 in Quebec, or 19 in Ontario - the two nearest provinces. Montreal and Ottawa aren't that far away. They could borrow one of Richard's cars (and one of his credit cards ). Libby could fly there, but she could only carry one person at a time, and the odds are she'd take Ni, find a bar, and just start drinking.. 
Pocket D has to be outside of US jurisdiction unless the USA have taken to annexing other planes of existence. Plus, there's always the Golden Giza in St Martial or The Devil's Candy in Port Oakes I can't imagine Recluse even bothering with an alcohol age restriction in his Empire...

Just had another thought... Richard's Limo, anyone? If Canada is the venue of choice, then there's no reason not to travel in style.

I bet Richard's limo is pretty well stocked with booze, music and whatever anyone could want that could conceivably fit in a massive luxury car. 200 miles in one of those and they'd be dribbling, slurring wrecks before they got to Canada 
Weird thing is that Americans seem to not even consider long drives for recreation an issue. I think it's the road system. 200 miles in the UK is hell, but I had people travel more than that down the entire length of Florida to come meet me for one night in Orlando. Then they drove back. How did I know these people? Friends? Family? Well... they were people who posted to the same Buffy the Vampire Slayer BBS as I did. 
For further afield, we could maybe draft in Sophie and talk really nicely to Issac...

This is partially why I considered a colaborative fiction project. OTOH, we could probably take it in turns to 'attack' other people's characters with bad pick-up lines. I pity the poor fool who gets Sam...

I wonder if we could go for semi-closed forum RP/collaborative story. Essentially, "the girls" are a closed group, but anyone is welcome to introduce a male (or female, I suppose!) character to the scene provided that they understand there is a significant chance of them getting shot out of the sky by a cannon.

And I just get this image of Ni, Libby, DD, Dinah, Sam, and Cassy (and maybe a few others, but we don't want to get too intimidating) all going off for a girls night out. No guys allowed, or required. Anyone stupid enough to attempt to engage is likely to take massive phaser damage to the ego. The worst thing to hit the male population in years, a gang of women on top form...
Of course, Ni is too young for this enterprise unless everyone keeps quiet and fake ID is supplied (and they make sure they take Ni, not Annette), or they hit someplace outside of the US...
It has to be done sometime... It just needs to be...
