Anyway, if you really want to discuss the topic;
Get over the fact its not happening anytime soon, and either play and enjoy the game as it is or shut up and give the rest of us some peace, before the mods decide enoughs enough and ban you both. This Taurus-Jade allience is facing the flak of, from the looks of it, every other user that has posted here.
And please, dont insult anyones intelligence by dragging out any of the excuses you've used so far. Its not worth it.

I like the idea, I just don't think it's going to happen any time soon.

One thing I will ask vis the "one server, but lots of legal background issues" thing, is how do CCP, the makers of EvE Online do it? I think I'm right in saying that their cluster of servers (aka Tranquility) is located in Scandinavia somewhere, yet serves clients all over the world. I believe their maximum number of concurrent users is somewhere in the region of 30,000 - although admitedly, they have an awful lot more zones to spread the population over than we do in CoX.

I know it isnt steel. But please direct me to a post any where on this forum where I have told someone not to post anymore? I take on board constructive critism and refine my points. I have addressed in my post many of the previous problems that people saw in a server merge and although the solutions I have suggested are not ideal thay are that just suggestions. I will continue to revise them as options and thoughts help this process.

I don't know if anyone remembers the occasions when Union or Defiant have been down and people pile onto Vigilance, but there have been some really awful things bandied about (this is, obviously, the minority of people). I think it's safer to keep the little factions separate. If you can't play nicely, then we'll take the toys away. Sorry, but just because of the lack of decent behaviour among just a few players, I would be against this.

I am sorry I really dont understand what you are saying with regards to taking toys away. I have made a suggestion on how I would like to see changes made to the log in screen and also how to purchase extra slots and lastly about having a serverless enviroment or single server.

But it's a non-starter, because it'd destroy the French and German communities.
It's fine to say that they could still have the text in their own language, but becuase the majority of European players are either Brittish, or use English, English would be the default language of the all public chat channels.
Making one Euro server would actually mean forcing French and German players to play on an English server, regardless of translated mission text.

And from time to time i see Italian being used in the public channels and also dutch. Both of which have active communities within the English speaking servers.

I am sure with the small spattering of french I know and the non existance german I would be able to function well in a team on either of those servers.

And me leaving probably wouldn't make much of a difference but I am not going to accept that just for a few more players on the server.

I just don't see the purpose.

This is the point. The game is meant to be for the majority. Thats all EU players. Yes, some things sound nice, granted, but repeatedly pushing for something that would cause so much hassle and disruption is not going to work.
