Invulnerability is great set imho, I wish my Kat/Inv was DB/Inv or Spines/Inv for better AoE and nice secondary effects instead of the Katana [censored].
It certainly sucks against psi dmg unless you have an uber expensive build, true, but great set indeed.-

My Spine/Invul is a great farmer, er character. He was a bit expensive for most but far short of all these billion inf builds. He's the reason I dont have spine/WP, though I did make a spine/fire which seems to work differently as least

Never cared much for what others think are farming sets or not. Never have farmed a mission and probably never will.
I will play whatever sets i find to be fun or fits my characters concept. If others think i'm a farmer because of that, it's their loss, as i will prob tell em to take their opinion and shove it where the sun don't shine.

I've stayed clear of Kinetics, infact if I think hard I think it's the only powerset I had avoided (my alts have everything else) mainly due to the rudeness kinetics seem to get. I am however considering it when my yearly badge comes around just so I can say I've tried them all =D

I personally (now) try to roll characters that I know I'll be able to solo, if there aren't any teams available, especially in CoV. Learnt this from trying to solo an Ill/kin pre lvl 20, was far too slow!
I purposedly went for an ice/kin troll rather than a fire/, as didn't want to be labelled as a farmer. The opposite to that on CoV is my dark/kin corr (which is proving very enjoyable atm).
DB/SR and MA/WP scrappers are also my current fotm.

I REALLY want to make a blaster, have soooo many concepts in mind but my playstyle always has and always will be to make a toon be flexible in any situation. Need toons that can be dmg/support.
After playing a warshade to lvl 45 and a pb to lvl 26 (then deleting), i just cant bring myself to make a PB . . . . . imo the WS just destroys it even though i know my PB was pretty darn good

I must admit that after playing a WS to 50 I just can't see how I could find playing a PB much fun without both mires, eclipse and the fluffies - looking at PBs and seeing what they get instead of that (heals mostly) the AT just doesn't appeal to me, so I'll probably never make a PB.
On a similar note, after playing Force Fields briefly before, I'll now probably never play Force Fields, Thermal Rad, Cold Dom or Sonic Resonance on any archetype simply because I find it tiresome having to renew the mini-bubble buffs on a whole team every 4 minutes (though if the devs made them a PBAE buff like AM, or 15+ min duration, I might re-consider it). I doubt I'll play Empathy either - I've never enjoyed being purely a healer/buffer in any MMO - I prefer damage-dealing, debuffing and control.
Like everyone as pretty much said, play your game your way, at the end of the day...its your account.
I tend to think of a roleplaying concept and background for my character and then try and find sets that fit.
And since I'm still new to the game, its all trial and error.
It doesn't matter what you play as long as you are having fun.

Good thing they both exist, I found the exact opposite. I like my PB and got it to 50. Tried a WS three times now, just don't like them at all. Deleted my third one in the 30's, not going to try it again - it just doesn't suit my style of play.
That's why we have a large choice, we are all different and like different things. If someone telle me I must be a farmer because I have a fire/rad controller I'll just mentally mark them as an idiot and get on with playing my toon the way I want. It'd probably just be jealousy anyway, fire controllers are pretty powerful little beasts...

Strangely enough my Fire/Emp controller doesnt tend to use the healing much... and if i do, its healing aura so it doesnt require much thinking for it...
Different playstyle though (and i cant believe that Catherine Wheel beat me to 50 as well LOL)

1) You only play Scrappers/Stalkers as they are easy?
2) You don't like debuff ATs
3) You have no opinions on the other ATs eg. Tankers, EATs
4) You're pretty disillusioned with the game?
And I don't think Stalkers in PvP is easy mode. Yes I agree that AS+Build up+Acc+Dam means pretty good 1 hit damage, But no stalker (unhidden) could ever go toe to toe with a Scrapper/Tanker or Brute, They'd own your as.s pretty much every time, that is if you haven't used SS to run and hide.
Stalkers in PvP to me is a hit and run toon only. 1 vs 1 shows just how much of a chicken [censored] build they are, but they work well as an assasin in team PvP.
Don't get me wrong, I have a Stalker too, but I don't think they're the best AT in PvP by a country mile. A Flying Blaster against a SS Stalker, will win every time.
