Has anyone else had a problem with these,I made a stealth IO this morning to go on my granite tank but found it wasn,t accepting it .This was the TimeSpace Manipulation (stealth) or am I mistaken and it just means ordinary enhancements are accepted . It was for the personal teleport power.

Just to seek absolute clarification: You have a Time & Space Manipulation (+Stealth) IO that is no higher in level than your toon's level +3, and you tried to slot it into the Teleportation Power Pool Power called Teleport (Or you're a Warshade and trying to slot it into your Level 1 Teleport power) and it wouldn't let you slot it?

If ALL of the above is true... that's a bug.

It will also not work, if you have a +stealth IO in another pool/travel power, as I found out.

On my tanker I had +stealth (Celerity IIRC) in a run power, and it wouldn't accept a +stealth (Unbounded Leap) power in superjump aswell. Took me ages to figure that one out.

Heh. It's always the simplest things, isn't it? I'm annoyed that I missed that possibility (thanks Nine, for picking up on it), now.

At least the mystery of the unslottable stealth is solved!

Check mids, the +stealth issue is listed there too...

its not an issue, its a WAI feature that you can only slot one +Stealth IO per toon

DO you want to do that though..?

JD is a teleporter and I've always found the celerity +stealth in teleport self unstealths momentarily when you tp... i.e. even though the 1st tp sets up stealth (for 2min iirc) immediately teleporting again results in the stealth dropping whilst the power activates. This can be seen both visually and in the PvE/PvP Stealth combat attributes.. oh and in the way that mobs aggro having now spotted you.

Not sure if that's a bug or WAI, but if it's WAI it's darn stupid to do that in a travel power that needs constant reactivation to use as a travel power...

WAI or not, I'd think twice about swapping a stealth in sprint (or in CJ/SJ/SS/Fly/Hover) for stealth in teleport self.

Hmm, OP is a tank, why in hell do even want a stealth power? And if you do wouldn't the pool stealth be better as that actually grants +DEF whereas the +Stealth IO is just a stealth and has no +DEF.

A full TimeSpace set offers an 8% Regen bonus (for 2 in a set) and a 1.5% Max HP boost (for all 3). That's the only reason I can think of.

(In fact that's the only reason I put a full TimeSpace set on my main Scrapper. I didn't need the +Stealth because I had Cloak of Darkness, I just wanted the Max HP bonus.)

Just because someone wishes to take a different option, and doesn't comform to what 95% of others do, then that's up to them, surely? If we all played ATs the same well, it would be very boring!

For the times you don't want to be an aggro magnet? ie Ghosting, or just wandering around zones?

I did what JD did, put the Stealth IO in Sprint rather than TP due to the annoying TP bug.

Mega_Jamie, I called that +stealth an issue both because of it's WAI nature and that it would be nicer if adding +stealth to more than 1 power was:
1. Possible.
2. Made those +stealth powers mutually exclusive.
(It would allow you to have stealth in multiple options without overpowering the stealth limit of a single IO.)

[/ QUOTE ]if you reread the OP that started the thread, and you read between the lines, you will see the following:-

a) they don't want a +stealth power, they are talking about +stealth enhancement
b) like me, they have run/fly/jump (delete where applicable) 3 slotted to take advantage of set benefits (regen bonus/recovery bonus etc)
c) +stealth helps with not being detected when moving in normal zones. Not every tank runs their toggles 100% of the time

and other reasons to have them :-
d) when ghosting in missions. +stealth helps to avoid taking too much damage when running through large higher level mobs.

The main reason I wanted the + stealth was for the extra regen I get from the set not to save myself from agro as I use the tp to jump into the middle of mobs when i have granite up,thanks for all comments and advice tho
