Avoid the electric primairy. Word from Beta was it was useless, and most people thought it would be too. Its a resistance based set with no self heal on a low HP character. Not worth the coding it took to bring it over.
Electric Melee on the other hand owns.

Electric Armor is the secondary, not the primary.
It won't be quite so bad if the hp buff now testing goes live, but it will still be the weakest stalker secondary by a long shot.

Resist based is already worse then def based on a stalker (WP however got +HP and selfheal with elemental defence).
Melee is ok, i dont really like the elec melee as its too much of a copy of SS/EM with some elec effects. (and jacobs ladder looks stupid 
)
With the upcomming buffs to stalkers, afaik Elec hardly will benefit in their AoE. As the tier9 melee power is a pet (summon location with TP) afaik it doesnt benefit crits.

Taken by US, Elec melee is nearly the same damage output with dark melee in PvE. While in PvP is pretty trash.

Hmm, I still might do one if I come up with a better concept then my dual blades ninja.
I think I should be okay in team, even with a weaker secondary and the buffs in the next patch might help.

If it helps I'm playing an Electric Melee/Ninja Stalker, low level still, but enjoyable, and should be good. so try that perhaps.

To be more fantastical: You lean down like Ninja Blade/Dual Blade/Claws style, red lightning crackles from floor and between your arms like a large Jacobs Ladder, you are pulling energy from all around you, as the surge reaches its peak you pounce! Jabbing them right in the bojangles with large sparks everywhere. They are now classed as Barren.
To be more blunt: Claws Assassin Strike with sparkles.
I like it and at least you don't look like you're taking a [censored].

Elec armour isn't as safe as the other resist set, Dark, since it has a heal. I wouldn't call Elec armour the 'worst', that honour I'd give to Energy Aura which has more holes than anything (no heal, no psi protection, no toxic protection, no perception, no +recharge/slow resist - just endurance recovery and a situational knockback toggle).
The tech now exists that if they set the EA KB toggle to "do not inform mobs" you could use it without breaking hide.

I've just started an Electric/Ninjitsu stalker and noticed something already quite early on that's a bit concerning. At lvl 2 I chose Jacob's Ladder to go with my lvl 1 attack, Charged Brawl. While hidden, my CB criticals when I hit a mob with it, as you'd expect. However JL does not.
On the basis that a stalker's inherent ability is such that his attacks critical from Hide, I don't understand why JL doesn't. Not including assassin strike, the other attacks in the set (Chain Induction and Lightning Rod)...do they crit when executed from Hide? I thought the electric pri set was brilliant for it's ability to damage more than one mob at a time, but don't see a point in taking a Stalker set whose attacks don't seem to work with a stalker's inherent ability....except for CB (and presumably Havoc punch).
AoEs and Cones have only half chance to crit from Hide afaik.
Lightning Rod does not crit at all. However you can use it without breaking hide.
AFAIK Chain Induction crits on the initial strike only.

I am not sure if eletric prime power is good for PVE ONLY
I got regen for soloing
But i am not sure if i picked a good powers for soloing in PVE ?
I am only lvl 10 so i can always delete and make a fresh?

Looks very interesting and I'm thinking to drop my dualblades/ninjitsu (just level 2 anyway) for a elec/elec stalker.
Any insights? Do the powers look cool? Is it fun to play one?
