Ex i am all for changing the amount of BF's needed to get out of repel from 4 to 2.But rendering TK totally useless in PvP is over the top and not a very well thought out change.It falls under the category of stripping us of all powers and PvP with brawl.I am happy this is being discussed though as pointed out rather than seeing it in post patch notes.
How will these bfs have an effect on taunt? taking 6 bfs currently ignores taunt so if they reduce the amount its going to be even more easier? or is the buff just buffing resistance to repel?

CoX is not built around 1vs1.When will you wake up and understand this.Its built around team PvP balance.Control sets are not supposed to dish out damage anyway.Now if you have problem getting 3 shotted first of all get a team second of all you need to learn more about PvP where spike damage is king like in all games.Thats how it is thats how it will always be.And spike damage involves a lot of tactics to counter it.Cages,TK,Buffs,Slows etc.If you got a problem with hitpoints get some +hp bonuses some accolades and cold corruptor or defender to buff you in i12.

Much more friendly answer... U probably right, but the mix of this game of being frenetic pvping (all goes so fast), and the skill to do that 2-3 shoting in a few secs is that is unfair here...
Other games u can start a MEGA-UBER-KILLER-PHOTONIC-ROBOT-COMBO-MOVE and you have ur counterpart of being vulnerable for a few secs, or so... (Im just speakin generally, not thinkin in any game).

If i may ask, what's the mag on Force Bolt again or are they making it unresistable? If the latter is the case, my main concern will be being bounced around the zone by 33 month Vets regardless of having both Karma (or the like) and Acrobatics.
The number of people with the Nem Staff is obviously only going to increase and i certainly know i was on my rear 70% of the time without Acrobatics. This will massively affect players such as me and many other PvPers who use SS and CJ to navigate the zone and generally kite like mad.

According to City of Data, Nemesis Staff has KB of 14.955.
However, Castle is having a look at KB sets increasing your KB protection.

According to mids, KU in lift is 12.5 (without PB or Megalomaniac)... And it checks psi defense...
Sounds weird knocking ppl with 1 shot... Devs worrying with repel effect while opening THE MEGA-HOLE with the acro change...
At least it will make it a bit more opened, sumthin like the old west... I knocked u firstly, u r dead

Acro does give too much protection agaisnt KB with the planned balance makes PvP a different ball game and brings other power sets that maybe once found it harder to PvP than others into the game. I think it opens more opoturnitys with the balancing planned.
After all if Squishy were meant to have KB protection they would have it part of the set???
In the theme of the game i think whats planned is fair.
As for TK something does need to change with that. It can be used in a pinning tatic.

Whats wrong with pinning people, as long as it isn't for hours. The last few times I tried it the end cost was so high that I normally released them well under a minute. There is also the issue that while messing about with TK, an opposing player is likely to just walk up and spank you.

My concern is mainly making the power completely useless in pvp as a "solution".. So its too good? ok, do the devs have to nerf it to a wasted slot? TKs only uses were in pvp, in PVE its end cost is too high to be of any use already. COH is FULL of powers that are equally powerful as TK in another sense. Why must everything be so black and white? Uber or useless?
To the devs: so hold in TK still works in PVP huh? Did you know that it suppresses for 10 SECONDS immediately after the TKd target takes damage?
All this changes are making control even more useless in pvping, and Im very shocked, since there are two control based toons which will be sended out of the pvping...
After reading all the thread, seems like castle is thinking in setting 2BFs = 100% repel resistance... Well, at least they need to burn bfs, which is the objetive...
