i dont disagree but i think maybe your thinking from a pve point of view im talking about pvp and i still see no need for a stalker to have any def after they come out of hide ,they kill in 2 shots or sometimes 3 then 5 seconds later they back into hide so theres a window of maybe 7 or 8 seconds and on top of that they got defence , there mitigation is getting to pick there targets and attacking from hide with the biggest attack in the game , i still dont see why they get a def buff aswell

I don't see why -Tankers- get -attacks- at all shouldnt they just have 9 more -Taunt AoE's- i mean that's all they do right?
I don't see why -Defenders- get -attacks- at all shouldnt they just have 9 more -Heal/Buffs- i mean that's all they do right?
I don't see why -Controllers- get -Support powers- at all shouldnt they just have 9 more -Hold/Immobilizes- i mean that's all they do right?

Firstly id like to say after reading my post again and all the responces i see that i should have put a ? at the end of the post title this was supposed to be a post about one part of of the stalker ATs and i believe it was put in such a way as tp promote a discussion about this part of said ATs powers

I have a eng/sr stalker and can get a beating from blasters if im not on the ball, and as for killing stalkers with blasters any good blaster can pull this off, i have no probs dealing with stalkers on my elec/elec

they have defence on top of there hide
i was playing a blaster 2 days ago in sc i fired 7 shots at a stalker and not one hit i have 90% acc and damage.
this is not moan about the damage they do although id love to see how long they last if a blaster could kill in 2 shots

(i) Stalkers get huge defense from Hide whilst they are hidden.
(ii) Once OUT of hidden the Stealth suppresses from a whopping ~60% to a mild ~5% Defence to AoE.
(iii) The only Stalkers that get noticable Defence outside hidden are /SR and /Nin. They are defensive sets.
(iv) The OP's sig shows they have an Ice/EM and a NRG/Dev Blaster.
(v) If they wanted to annoy/kill a Stalker, their /Dev is perfect for it (Webnade/Mines/Stealth/Trops).
(vi) If a Blaster with "Aim + Build Up + PB" or "Aim + TD" can't hit a Stalker then that Blaster is Kak.
SR or NIN Stalker Defence in SC out of hide will be easily beaten by slotted Targetting Drone, never mind "Aim".

Ok some constructive criticism.
1.) The reason you whiffed is because the stalker used a tier9 power in sirens. Whether devs should fix this I dunno, I think not as stalkers get enough [censored] as is.
2.) This is like the 125864365th thread on the subject ("stalkers overpowered omg"), so you can expect somewhat colourful responses from pvp vets.
3.) Fix your build so you have power boost, aim and buildup in sirens and vĂ³ila: own said stalker.
