Peronsally never understood the desire of two travel pools. But then again i don't pvp.

Personally I never understood how people can choose all those other powers, without having enough slots to max em out. But then again I use two travelpowers in pve. -
I does more damage now yes, like every other stalker primary. We got a higher damage scale and crits based on how many teammembers are near. And those are just a few of the changes. My claw stalker went from [censored] to decent.
-
To justify; I copied the build to see what he was using, I went tinkering with it and saw no reason not to post it. Never said it was better because he's allready really pushing it.
I know +heals don't work with regen, but I didn't know they also don't work with just the healing portion of dull pain and reconstruction. -
No offense, but I made a few adjustments. Bumbed into your post and got lost in Mids. Fought your scrapper tonight and was pretty curious.

There has been alot of buffs to stalkers in general, and ninja blade got it's animation times fixed. check the patchnotes from a while back.

Level 1: Assassination
First of all, you'll be having a hard time pvping without stealth, you'll be seen very easily. It's also wise to add a stealth IO to a travelpower. Kuji-in rin only needs 2 slots to be on all the time, so I changed that. I also added invis to get rid of toggle debuffs and phase shift for easy escape. I got rid of flashing steel because it's only purpose is hitting several enemies, which is not gonna happen in pvp. Caltrops can be nice if you got the room, but also blinding powder has it's use on occasion, so it's up to you really. The end mods on Retsu aren't needed, I would slot for defense.
I still kept teleport foe, since it's a stalkers new toy after the buff. It doesn't unhide you now, which makes it very attractive. But if you wish to be more mobile I would recommend getting combat jumping and super jump, because if you combine them with superspeed it gives you all the movement you want.
Good luck and don't mind the slotting too much, I had alot of them left, which only means this character will be nice to IO. -
I don't aggree. You shouldn't discourage him. A lethal set takes more time and practice, but it can perform it's role just fine in a pvp zone. Not everybody should be pushed into the same set, as ninja blade is fast and hits quite hard these days.
-
To be honest I like widows, but wouldn't want them to have the same unlockable claws as stalkers and scrappers. Claws doesn't have a lot going for it with allmost every power copy/pasted into night widows.

Whenever I try to stab Greek, two out of three he punches me in the face. They must be hacking anyway

I'm allways up for something like this, but first you need a plan, then a date.
-
I don't aggree, the biggest difference between sets is the damage per attack, because recharge can be taken care of real easy.
-
I kept getting people in or not in my team who were dissapointed or mad because their farm night was ruined. Think that tells alot about the zone.
PvP has to be more rewarding, why is it so hard to put some sets in. They certainly don't mind people running the same map over and over to get them.
Also pvp balance is [censored]. Whenever a new player walks into the zone with the powersets he liked best, he gets dissapointed when the next blaster kills him in two or three shots and he never saw him coming. After a few comments about how fly sucks and dual blades is balls, he leaves the zone, to never come back.
PvP is a big part of the endgame and since you can become 50 in a week or two with normal gameplay now, they have to reconsider their vision of max level life. -
Woot villains! Thanks all for coming, it was great fun. Extra credit for the last villains that stood up to the heroes and managed to take the final round
I hope to host another Final Battle in the future, but as TG pointed out in another thread; pvp needs to be improved. People left because of the lag and the balance between powersets. If pvp would be more rewarding and not some two shot killfest by the few common ATs, alot more people would have enjoyed this great evening. -
ok RV is filled with people allready, and the time has been unclear. Let's just make it 8 UK time
-
Just a little heads up about the event, I made a little mistake with the timezones. So the correct time should be 21:00 UK time
-
Ever since I came back, this game has felt like a neverending double xp weekend. There really has to be something done imho. You kick three mobs, fall off a buidling and gratz you're 50. The actual upcoming double xp weekend is going to be mental.
-
I am so sorry, but I was under the impression GMT was the British timezone, I'm Dutch myself.
Think it's best to keep the initial post intact, which makes it 21:00h BST.
Thanks for pointing that out -
Awesome
It also seems people want to know which side vindicate/fatality will be playing. You guys mind giving a hint?
-
Allready talked to a lot of people and it seems it's gonna be a busy night
keep the posts coming, I want as many people to know about this as possible. Don't worry about having no experience, this is mass pvp not one on one
-
-Yes permadomination is the ability to keep domination going once the bar has been filled by making a recharge build combined with hasten to get it back in 90 seconds.
-He probably allready had his domination bar filled from previous fights or attacking some mobs. Kudos to him though for getting permadom at sirens level, it's an insane accomplishment. Are you sure he was perma? Because I can fire it off twice in a row with hasten and not being perma. -
Thanks for joining, it's good to know
I'm advertising as much as possible, because I'm hoping on a full zone
-
Total focus is actually a better stun then stun :P
-
I was joking on the blaster change, but I think the first two would be improvements to the game, but it's just my opinion.
-
- inspirations of the same type on a timer after use, making pve and pvp more challenging and increasing the value of large ones.
- changes to travelpowers; removing the pause from teleport when near the gound and increasing the speed of hover to that of combat jumping but only making it useable to a certain height.
- getting blasters on par with stalkers, since they have become the better stalkers. Adding an interruptable period to heavy hitters so they can't be executed on the move :P
- random pve [censored]
