Bare in mind that the WoW version of this kind of web-integrated thing is still in beta, and it's been active for a couple of years. Given the variance between EU and US servers, I'd guess they may need to have different systems for handling this (which was part of the problem with global chat IIRC).

Is it just me, or is this locked, stickied thread rather EMBARASSING by now? Hey, maybe you could even stick a post up about Cathedral of Pain? 
Yes.. please update this with news... Telling us its closed or not going to work anytime soon with a reason would be nice.
Just giving it the silence treatment is not the way to go... Especially with the new forums and sites now.

Posi made a throw-away comment at the 5th anniversery Roast Posi thing in PocketD.
Basically they couldn't get this to work properly without flooding the servers with traffic so it was quietly forgotten about and left to rust "until we can get some network coders to look at it" or something similiar.

Pretty much, though afaik he never stated it was network traffic.
