I have only just heard about that they are going to be bringing out +per IOs out with i11.

Can anyone from test confirm this? If so, can I be the first to say DOOOOM!?

If this is true, doesnt this mean that, yet again, stalkers get a kick in the teeth from the Devs?

So, confirmation anyone?

Seems its true.
My guess is it will only be a major problem if it would allow a player to increase perception beyond the perception cap. Otherwise it makes stealth IO's even more attractive for stalkers.

The perc+ IO is only 20% percep buff. Which means stalkers are safe.

20% Perception is identical to the "Empowerment Station" +Perception buff.

So the Perc IOs currently add 100 Feet +Perception, and Stealth IOs currently add 300 feet of +Stealth.

The point is that only sets with self +perception will be able to do it solo (and defenders with Tactics, IO and empowerment buff pre RV).

Personaly i'm not impressed with perception IO sets, Think it's about time they add to the stalker rather than taking things away.

Of course thats my own opinion and will conflict with many other people.

agreed but what happens withing teams.Clear mind with tactics IO and empowerment buff lets say.The way i see it is that blasters within teams can see stalkers that try approach to land an AS.

Given that Clear mind stacks with itself and two applications will always hit the +Perc cap, in that instance you wouldn't even need Tactics let alone a +Pereption IO or an Empowerment buff.

Without any other buffs, and assuming the Stalker is at the Stealth cap? No.
You'd be anywhere from 70 to 120 feet short depending on your level.

An empowerment station +Perception buff would let you add 100 feet onto that (so you'd be fine anywhere but RV) or a single "Clear mind" would add well over 300 feet and stick you at the perception cap anywhere.

Small Update - From here

"Fixed a stacking issue with the Rectified Reticle Increased Perception IO. It now functions as a ‘Set Bonus’ rather than a ‘proc’"

Basically this means that if you get one that's lower than level 33 and slot it into something like Aim/Build up, it'll ALWAYS be active at level 30 and above... you don't actually have to pop the power every 120 secs.

Well, proper stalkers already play around the fact that the enemy is at +percep cap. This however allows for a lot of people to have higher perception by themselves..not just SR scrappers and devices blasters etc. Which may be hard on the not-so-proper stalkers.. Maybe it creates for more options overall, I dont know.

How big is the debuff on Arctic Air (its the only one I can think of atm). Would this be sufficient to allow seeing a maxed out stalker on ATs that otherwise cannot?

Arctic Air inflicts an autohit Slow (which knocks everything except Hide and Invisibility off) and Debuffs Stealth by 389 feet (which starts eating into Hide/Invisibility's numbers).

The only way a Stalker could remain hidden in it is to run Both Hide and Invisibility: This would grant -1111 Feet of "Stealth" that won't get suppressed by the slow. 1111 Feet - 389 Feet (from AA's -stealth effect) - 500 Feet (normal base perception) leaves 222 Feet still to cover before the stalker becomes visible. Assuming you're a controller, Tactics grants 222 Feet of +perception from well before Bloody Bay.

And remember that when a Stalker is running Invisibility, they're unable to attack. When they switch from Invis to Stealth in order to attack, Arctic Air will suppress Stealth and cut right through Hide on its own.
