Time travel is a fickle thing, it is totaly possible that she went forward in time aquired a medi port doohickey....but hey ho thats time travel for you, no explaination works as it cannot be explained by us mere mortals.

Right ho i relogged back on after verifying files to still find that i had lost a couple of badges and some experience. Not a huge issue as they can be regained, was just wondering if anyone else had encountered this?

It is possible though as i logged in too early after the reset if that is indeed possible as i was not in the same position in recluses victory when it disconnected (usually your a little ways off after a dc), infact i was on the other side of the zone near the hero base.

To sum it all up i had logged on at 8 in the morning just before the normal downtime to find that after the server went down, i was back to the same instance (Experience/infamey gain/prestige and badges)at the time i first logged on in the morning.

It certainly is whacky for this to happen!

Okay well it's back up but...lost all my free slots and 2 bars of xp..very odd indeed.

No message was given just map dc, green lights on all servers for me. Is just saying cannot connect to DBserver now rather than downtime ect....

Mapservered myself, all green lights and can't log in.

Personaly i would drop a Decimation set for a entropic chaos as you will have a higher chance of getting one set of each rather than two of a rarer one. Stick stupefy in psi shockwave and sticking a doctored wounds 5 pieces into drain psyche and save yourself a slot, could possibly drop one or two from hasten, and if your feelng a bit flush could get a absolute amazement for psi shockwave instead of stupefy. (Absolute amazement is reasonably cheap btw)

Have two perma doms myself and found it is totaly possible to get without using luck of the gamblers and purple sets. On a cost factor LOTG recharges are far more expensive then a purple set, i would stick the LOTG in later if you managed to aquire them dirt cheap or found them.

Hornblade lvl 50 Axe/Willpower Brute..and to answer your question yes it's possible to do it with a team of four our SG and Coalition run trials frequently with a small team or larger ones.

Awhile back sirens defiant side was usually in control of the heroes, till some hard working villains went in and changed that. Not sure if there is a real problem with how the npc's affect the zones control. I have not been in sirens for awhile myself so cannot truly speculate other than it might be possible that people are there, when you are not and work to regain control.

No idea if that actually helps but atleast it is on topic.

It works the same, move out of LoS and the assassins strike will miss...oh but then again i guess if you can't see the stalker your stuffed...but uhm hence them being called stalkers.

Nice how you obviously picked out the wording to suit what your saying. One person with two accounts that constantly mentions over broadcast and other channels he has mulitple accounts to buff his fighting character. Hope that makes it a little clearer

I just solo to do story arcs, if people want to live by paper missions then fair play to them. Don't need to nerf someones idea of fun when its quite possible your able to make your own team and seek the story arcs.

Just leave the team in a polite manner and start your own team. Xp is not factor in most situations, some like or find they are easier to fight than the dreaded CoT that to-debuff you to hell and back.

My personal pet hate is the multi-account abuse, using a pocket fender to gain the upper hand thats safetly tucked away in hero base, and finding the person you are about to defeat gets teleported away by the pocket fender to safety and to get rebuffed to the eye balls. Not keen on the idea of having to fight two or three accounts from one player, destroys the object of player vrs player.

Of course some say it is allowed and does not break any rules. As there is no rules as such the idea of fair play no longer exists in this world with some select people and sadly i find it is mostly hero players that have this warped sense of morals.

My personal opinion as it stands, such players should be given multiple warnings then banned for their abuse of multiple accounts.

(The above is directed at a couple of people that do use multiple accounts to "Win", not the whole player base of CoH)

Happened to my villain group aswell, had a chap that was with us for a time and decided one day he needed our stuff and left the group without a word. I personaly did not contact customer support as i knew they could do nothing, instead i used word of mouth to my globals and coaltion members of the person that stole from us.

Three days later he returned all our goods as he was no longer able to team or join a supergroup/villain group.
It truly sucks i know how it felt and so do many others, all i can say is don't give up cause of one loser.

I don't think defiant villains is dead by a long shot, i tend to do alot of solo myself but thats due to my own choice. Not had trouble finding teams when i actually look for one or attempt to start a strikeforce or trial, maybe alot of people just hope they will get an invite from someone rather than attempting to make a team themselves.

Some of the people that have posted here i have teamed with in the past, mainly on respecs or strikeforces as i am not the type of person to do constant missions, as i find no enjoyment in papers which alot of people tend to do.

I can honestly say that defiant villains is very much alive, for myself and the others that take part in strikeforces and respecs which we run every night.

Very strange that, as the character that did not get the badge on mine has done the imperious strikeforce atleast three times.

So i cannot see how it cannot "Qualify" for it, pretty much the response i got when i was unable to join midnighters on a lvl 50 character with no story arcs active.

Of course thats a different matter but seems to be that help and support are far from that recently, which leads me to understand bugging most things will not get you anywhere.

One of mine did not get the badge either.

From what i heard is that female and large body types do not have claws yet, think someone forgot to add them.

I have a DM/SR stalker and have got shadow maul i find it rather good myself but most will disagree with some technical garbage about root times and whatever else. I play in pvp and pve with it and not had such a huge problem, if anything i skipped shadow punch (the first attack i maybe wrong with the name). But hey people use sands of mu and miss alot more than you would with shadow maul.

My general opinion is don't skip it as it has its uses, specialy if you can get the cone to hit the max targets your after.

Mines six slotted by the way which shows i like it.

Oddly though it used to stun my kin and others that were in transfusion radius.

Happened to us again today, after waiting for over an hour for a reply to any of our petitions the whole team quit. But just 10 minutes later someone turned up to help us, would be nice to have this fixed. Because waiting for so long for a reply is not what you expect for paying customers, what makes it worse is the badge is needed for a accolade otherwise i would avoid it at all costs.

I am grateful to the people we pay to play the game, And i am sure your not one of the people we pay to play the game. Unfortunatly it seems that whatever anyone says you have a reason to point something out that is not valid to the thread....which if i remember correctly is why banes suck or rather whats wrong with banes?

So i will let you pick on others posts as it is obvious that there is nothing wrong with banes other than the fact they cannot solo on relentless. And leads me to understand that this thread is pretty much a arguement over nothing to do with the original post.

And so that you do not misunderstand me, I am not grateful to you for play testing a game, You had the option to do that as a non payed play tester. It is yours and others choice to play test the game and iron out the bugs, And to assume myself and many others should thank you is nothing more than sheer arrogance.

If you are offended by the above oh well i guess you asked for it.

Read some of this long thread, Skipped some and read some more, And all i can tell is one guy says banes suck because he can't solo relentless. Another guy saying they need a buff so they can solo relentless/balance them and...well.

Pretty much what sums it all up, Your playing on the top level and mentioned you like to play like a tank/brute. Banes are not tanks/brutes, Don't see how you can say at level 30 or so that the character is dead terrible.

I myself like to play stalkers and was able to solo many a mission on a decently high level, Yet when i made a corr i found i got my behind kicked. Is it totaly possible your playing the class the wrong way and expecting them to be uber at everything because they have "epic" in their name?

On a side note i have seen banes in action and find myself wanting to make one, And i would not be mad enough to solo on relentless just to get to lvl 50 in three weeks. Take your time and learn the AT then that way you maybe able to actually prove it does not suck.

Oh and playing on test only spoiled it for yourselves, Rather than enjoying something thats new and interesting your already moaning on whats bust. There's no need to blame devs or to nit pick others posts, There is alot of that on this thread and some people made valid points yet a couple keep talking in circles.

Sadly everyone elses opinion is wrong and mines right does not create a constructive arguement for anyone.

Patron powers for stalkers are pure pony as far as i am concerned, Your pet generaly tends to be ignored and the mobs run past it to attack the hidden stalker. Personaly i have not wasted powers for patron powers i only do the arc for the badges and respec.
