Anyone else having problems with "Roman" badge?

Just finished using all my characters that have already played Imperious TF, and the results are quite disappointing. Only 3 have earned "Roman" (1 CoH Defiant, 1 CoH Union and 1 CoV Defiant), and 5 haven't (3 CoH Defiant, 1 CoV Defiant and 1 CoH Union).

Already sent a bug report, when the 1st one didn't earn it, and I've updated it as soon as I've used the rest of them.

Anyone else is having the same bug?

It has not been awarded on some of my toons as well.

Don't know if it's a bug or WAI, as I think it only started to get tracked after a lot of people had done the TF... my three characters with whom I've done it haven't been awarded the badge. Despite having all of the other badges related to Cimerora and the TF.
I doubt Customer Service will do anything about it, but here's hoping...

I have had the same issue as well with my tank and blaster. Both have completed the TF only once but the tank had it awarded where the blaster didn't. Shame as the blaster is my main badger. I will probably just run through it again on my blaster though as it is a good source of inf!

It seems to be awarded on the toons which completed the TF fairly recently. Those which did it shortly after it was introduced are missing out.

I may be wrong, but there should be no reason why the badge can't be given to any character with the Temporal Strife badge.

I have been informed by support that the characters, that in my opinion "should" have the badge, haven't been retrospectively granted the badge as they "haven't" qualified for it. I don't remember my characters nipping out for a break whilst the rest of the team defeated Romulus in the last mission.

Which now means that if I truly want to get the badge I am going to have to get a group of willing people together 4 times and spend roughly another 8 hours of time.

Did support tell you what you need to do to qualify?

I know you don't even need to damage Romulus to get the badge. I did it with another alt earlier, I went AFK for five minutes while they were clearing around Romulus, he died just as I got back. Best ITF run I've ever seen.

Very strange that, as the character that did not get the badge on mine has done the imperious strikeforce atleast three times.

So i cannot see how it cannot "Qualify" for it, pretty much the response i got when i was unable to join midnighters on a lvl 50 character with no story arcs active.

Of course thats a different matter but seems to be that help and support are far from that recently, which leads me to understand bugging most things will not get you anywhere.

ParagonWiki says the Roman badge is retrospectively awarded to people who completed the task force after the 24/6/08 patch went live.

I don't see why a patch should change whether or not you qualify for the badge. I can't help thinking that the person who "helped" you didn't really understand the situation.

I think we need some clarification on this.

I agree. My main did it within 5 days of I12 release, and has not been awarded the badge. Surely everyone who has completed the TF should be getting it?

I have experienced this too, the only character of mine that got the badge was the last one to do it. The previous 3 runs have not been awarded the badge.

It can no way be because of time spent on map to qualify, that's just a ridiculous suggestion from support.

Unfortunately, due to a bug, completion of the requirements for the badge was not being recorded until recently. Unfortunately, those who completed the requirements before the bug was fixed will not be automatically awarded the badge as the game doesn't know you earned it.

Thanks, GR. A couple of minor questions, then (mostly due to my lack of access to most sites about the game while I'm at work):

What are the requirements?
Are there any other badges that, in combination, signify that you have met those requirements?
Are we allowed to /petition for the badge, or are we forced to do the TF again? (Not a huge problem, except organising it once more)

Easiest for who, GR?

A rerun would be several hours repeating the TF for players, and zero effort for GMs.

Asking for logs to be trawled would be next to zero effort for players, but work for the GMs...if that's an option at all.

Well, I though I had get rid of Cimerora until a future Issue could provide more content for that map, now I'll have to play ITF 5 times more, instead of playing other kind of toons, besides there's a Double XP weekend incoming, so I will have to plan what to play carefully.

Well... considering you get the Temporal Strife badge for completing the Imperious Task Force (or Impy's TF as I like to call it), wouldn't it be easier to check if the player has that badge and if so, award the other?

That would be easier to do then run the TF again. Having said that, already have done it on my controller (again) and got the badge. Just needing to do it on my corruptor now.

This seems the obvious solution... there are other flags set on completing this TF (which I believe can't be done without beating Rommy), which seem to be set correctly, so why can't the system just cross correlate and award the Roman badge where the TF completion badge flag or roman costume option flag is set but the Roman badge flag isn't?

The team needs to defeat Romulous to complete the TF.

However a player does not need to be in the zone at the time.

Thus it is possible to complete the ITF without being eligable for the badge for defeating Romulous.

I really should do something about this signature.

That's semantics PRAF... if the team to which you belong completes it, you complete it. Either you were awarded the other badges/rewards or you weren't. Easier to check for those flags than having players redo the TF.

Having said that, I know have the badge on both my badgewhores, since I redid the TF on Maroon yesterday.

Well, after a successful weekend, I've been awarded with "Roman" with 2 different characters, after re-running this tf again, which I was supposed not to do so because I had already completed it but I hadn't earned that badge, so I only miss it in 3 characters.
