Basically there is a all-archery SG already...(Army of Archers, I think)
Like the idea of Robin Hood style though.

[/ QUOTE ]Yeah, it is called Army of Archers....used to be a member before I deleted my empath/archery def called Cosmic Monk. Got him to lvl 21 but found him hard to play solo.
IIRC Alien Archer and their partner were the main 2 people in charge of the Group. They were great to team with, and still see milling around Paragon every so often.
Maybe you could call the new SG "Men in Tights" in honour of the Robin Hood spoof.

You must have read my mind - this was one idea; the other being something along the lines of "The Merry Men"!

I've got one free slot left on defiant and this sounds like a good idea to fill it.
TA/Archery is something I've been toying with for a while now so this might be a chance to try it depending on how much free time I have.

I don't know if we should have a set time to meet up or not, but I think most people get on (well I certainly do anyway) around the same times as you, although I have a couple of alts that I need to play occasionally through the week, but I'm sure there'll be a few on at any given time.

Soz I missed you last night, I just need confirmation if any particular look must be applied to the toon, we still up to original post idea of a techno Robin Hood?
We had a fair range of costumes last night. Some went for a traditional Robin Hood look, while others (like me) went for a techno look.
Also last night was so much fun, arrows were flying everywhere. Even though we faceplanted a few times, no one seemed to care.
I'm not going to dictate costumes and powers (beyond TA/A) at this stage, as there's already not a great deal of room for diversity! My feeling is though, that by level 20, we should have 1 ultra modern and 1 traditional archer cosie each.
Last night was so much fun - and like Tenebris said - no-one cared too much about faceplanting - in fact gave us the perfect opportunity for more healing gags!
Looking forward to seeing you all again, though I can't get on until late tonight, tomorrow and saturday (unusually busy week for me) but don't let that stop you all getting together!

Is the SG already on or are you guys just getting together for teaming? I will try creating the toon at lunch time (and then uninstall CoH from work )
I was having a play around last night creating a new toon, when I had an idea, that may be more than a little pants, but could potentially work.
The idea is to set up a SG of all archery/trick arrow defenders with a team theme of a sort-of modern day Robin Hood (and his merry men!) - so running around in that kind-of clichéd green tights look - then perhaps an uber-up-to-date/techy version of the costumes at lvl 20 etc.
I haven't ever managed to get a SG off the ground before (maybe from this idea you can see why?!) but I'd welcome any ideas or volunteers if you're interested in coming on board!
