I think Echo was planning to run the odd trapper night or weekend every now and then, so keep your eyes peeled. Might also see some solo trappers on at random.

I certainly do plan on that.

My own fault for being so distracted this past week that I haven't even found the time to post a debrief in this thread just yet.

I'm busy for the next two weekends, but I would love to get the Trappers together for the weekend after that (Sat 23rd June) for a TF, or just some mad XP.

Hopefully by then I'll have bought the acc/mez SHO to go with the two dam/mez SHOs in spec ops to give maxed out acc, damage and mez effects...would be the perfect opportunity to test them out >

Okay, as I said earlier, the Trapeprs will be meeting this weekend, I hope. Saturday the 21st (not the 23rd as I said earlier), starting from 3pm.

What exactly is on the cards depends on how many can make it. Ideally it would be great to do a TF - another crack at the LGTF especially.

Let me know if you can make that date or not.

Can probably make it.

Although personally, I'd like to take Toybox through the ITF

Two family birthdays at saturday, so i will not be able to make it.
Have fun everyone .

ITF is also an option, though I think we'll need a little time to unlock Cimerora beforehand...

Sorry you can't make it UW, but sounds like you'll be having a good time on Saturday regardless!

I can prolly be there.

I'll hopefully see you guys in game shortly.

We kicked Cimerorian bottom quite well

Yeah that was great fun. Cheers everyone for showing up.

Must do that again sometime.

Oh and I respecced Mea, but I'm not convinced I haven't gimped her utterly, so I may respec Stamina back in again before the next time we meet up...

On a related note reworked a couple of my cossies. I just couldn't reconcile my character's background with a roman cossie, so I revamped his Tech armour and his civilian cossie.

The tech armour now looks a bit like a heavily armoured M Bison and when my bro saw the new civvies he said it made Commi look like Laurence Olivier in Marathon Man ...."Is it safe?".

Cack, where'd this Double XP weekend spring up from??

Is it too late to organise a bit of Trapping on Saturday?

Posted

I'm guessing the news didn't make it to Hyboria

Hyboria's a pretty dull place to be honest. It doesn't have any spectacle like CoH's ruined cityscapes and strange terrain. Even Toth-Amon's palace, under swirling dark clouds (which could've should've bern rendered better, bah) looks just as dingy as every other palace and dungeon in the game.

The pretty graphics and copious gore is only going to keep me interested for so long. Some of the classes are fnu but I never feel that heroic (or vilainous)a nd none of the quests I do have any importance. At lvl 30 I'm still asked to go out and kill X amount of mutant wolves/vultures/bug monsters for some guy, or deliver a love letter to another country. Is this really the best use of my sorcerous time??

I've already decided I'm going to cancel my sub at some point. Especially with WAR on the horizon. Just taking what enjoyment out of it I still can, seeing if I can get a toon to 40 or 50 before the dev's weekly-update-buff-nerf-revert-schedule-deseperation-spectacular finally exhausts my patience.

---

Anyway, I respecced Mea Culpa again. I retook Stamina (because that is the SANE thing to do, MajikMan!) and dropped Leadership (it was a tough call) for the Medicine pool. She now has every Traps power except Time Bomb (obv) and Triage (which will probably be her 49, either that or Resuscitate). Also, TP Foe.

I'll be online on Sunday afternoon from about 2pm. If other Trappers can make it, cool! If not, I won't get Mea all th way to 50 anyway (I think she's still behind the Trapper curve so it's just about catching up).

We'll have another proper Trapper weekend soon anyway, maybe the beginning of August?

Disagree on the lack of spectacle in AoC but wrong place to discuss that game

If I weren't AR I'd probably get Stamina on my guy and with the three into one insp system I'm never short of a blue when needed (if powersink is recharging)

Congrats to Grizzled Veteran.

First 50 among the Trappers.

(and I have no idea if anyone else managed it, I was falling asleep by that point. This post is my last act of the evening before I kill the PC and go to bed.)

Nah, Griz was a little way ahead of the rest of us XP-wise (he was the veteran of our group!! *groan*), so he's the frist and only, sof ar.

Commisar Jaeger is level 49 now and likely to be the next. Mea Culpa is 48, Fraser Phipps 47 (I think) and Ninja Noddy is 46.

Ultragrats to G!
