I'm thinking of rolling a controller or scrapper, not sure which yet though. Also, would be up for starting earlier than 8PM as well, if everyone else is fine with that.

Can you expand on what you mean FG? It certainly sounds very interesting. Would be interested in learning to play a tank or playing another blaster, depending on what it is you mean. Would it be be just 7 toons, one of each AT, with no partiuclar restraint on powerset choices, or did you mean something more complicated to evaulate the effectiveness. Either way, I'd be up for it but unfortunately I couldn't do the first friday of every month so would understand if this is a problem.

The basis behind my thoughts on this was basically borne of the fact that the Devs intended for CoH to be a team-based game - witness the fact that it's an MMO, rather than a single playered game. Who here has ever joined PuG where someone keeps spamming "lol we have four blasters and a scrapper"? I know I have. With the five standard ATs, and the two 'Epics', we could put together a team where each player has a set role within it - personally, I'd like to see what would happen.
To make things more interesting, I'd quite like anyone willing to join to feel free to go ahead and pick whatever powersets they want. If this is a team-based game, then every AT should work in conjunction with every other, no matter what sets get chosen. I know in practice, this isn't always the case, but it should be an interesting little test.
I wouldnt mind joining this, I've been thinking about making an earth troller anyway

Well, as I say, it's first come, first served, so the first person to get a claim in will have that role.
If me missing the first friday of every month is not a problem I will take the blaster if that's ok (feel free to dispute it with my Jummyboy) as I feel I'd lose interest in the tanker role too quickly and really fancy playing a different kind of blaster than FR. So, if you're ok with my complications (and feel free to say No as I miagine it may be a pain without one of the ATs) then I'd like to play the blaster. Atleast then if I did miss weeks you've got the PB, Scrapper and eventually the warshade who can dish formidable damage.

Well, the exact day is up for discussion. I'll put you down as the PB for now, and we'll see what happens.
If it helps, Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays will be a no-go for me.
Edit: As for times, my internet shuts off at 10:25, so the earlier the better for me really, thus 8 is a pretty good time but can do earliar since it's only one day a week.

Post saying my days edited to include times. Really looking foward to this actually as it's full of a mix of people I'm used to teaming with, plus new faces (well in regards to teamingwise from my point of you, certainly not from a forum point!)
By the way, which server are we planing to be on? I have slots on them all, but appreciate this is probably not the case for everyone else.

After a short chat in the Forumite Global, I've decided to form a team of players, who will meet once a week (I'm thinking Friday nights, from 8pm GMT) with all new alts representing a generic AT. Each team-mate will take one particular AT, and run with it - just to see the effectiveness of the game when it's equally representative of the types of Heroes we can create in-game. Sadly, this means we can only have a total of seven people join in, so it's a first come, first served basis.
