Also, there is no need for a 2nd tank taunt team, althgouh a second taunter in the main team doesn't hurt. In a perfect world it isn't needed, but simple things go wrong too easily. An HO comes a second too late. You get lag-burst damage from Hami which will basically 1-shot anyone, since it's 2 or 3 Hami attacks simultaneously (Only seen this twice, though). The PA drop loses aggro of mitos... Some newbie or massively lagging toon accidentally brings aggro down on the taunt team. Keep a backup in the team, but far back from the main taunter. He can rush in to support if needed. Even more boring than cowards' hill though.
Other than that, Empaths for the win. It's definatley a good idea to cram the team full, and put them ALL on Auto-cast HOs. You're on the right track, there. Sometimes Empaths will dc or need to leave for whatever reason. Imo, you need at least 3, though.Also, it's important to stress that Empaths in the taunt team must NOT stop to res people, or go heal other peopel. Their sole task is to keep the taunter alive, since he keeps everyone else alive, basically, by performing his function.
I would like to go, but unfortunately, you've picked the launch-day of the Nintendo Wii, which emans I'm not going to be playing with anything else for a few days. 
One quick side-note, I'm pretty sure Crey Pistol is not an Immobolise, it's a Hold. A crappy hold, but a hold none the less. That, or they've changed it in the past few months, as it's held things in place when I've used it in the past.

Where you say "held things in place", do you mean like "not running around but still shooting at me"? Because that's what the crey pistol does. It's basically a pathetic version of Chillblain with a 30 minute recharge.

well im packing awakens and a vrey / vanguard combo for this. I've already setup my scrapper costume too. As long as I know who's in charge of the raid and where we are meeting I'll follow orders and do my best to help

I mean as in proper-Held, no actions being taken by the target being Held. Apparently, my Pistol seems to have been bugged in the past. I'll try it out today though.

I'd like to come along with Felicia Nox (L50 MA/Regen) have my costume and wakeys sorted. One quick Q, I've done a few of the high level safeguards which has left me glowing and sparking with the 3 auto temp powers (+regen, + health + one other) is this a problem?

I dont see it being a huge issue seeing as you cant turn them off at all on your char, but hopefully one of the other guys can confirm this for you.
My regen one is due to wear off soon, luckily it doesnt have any extra effects that i can visually see

I want the Hami badges on my scrapper Cidri (Claws/SR 48). I f you are desperate, I could turn up with a Lvl 50 controller Jetstream (Ice/Kin 50) instead, but she only has one single hold.
I got the time bandit badge for mine already, but I can't find heart of the Hamidon for the life of me!!! Aah well, should have plenty of time tommorrow post Hami-Ganking

Bring your ice/kin, since it's not the amount of holds but the duration that matters and controlleres have the longest duration hold. Also, you'll get a level 48 Hami-O if you bring your level 48, which is useless once you get to 50. You could just park your scrapper in the hive and then switch for the badge after the raid is complete).
Tsumi, Heart Of The Hamidon is (as the name suggests) directly underneath Hamidon. As long as you have pretty good aim you can get it with fly by dropping yourself into Hamidon and landing on it, or you can just run through the jelly with superspeed or superjump to pick it up.

Well, technically you can - but you can only turn them off by actually deleting the temp power (there should be an option to do this).
Of course, you really wouldn't want to do that just for a hami-raid!

It's there, but it'll take you more than one go to get in there.
Also, FYI, Elude and your other +def toggles won't help you vs Hamidon or the Mitos. No armour will.

Warburg mission temp power for 30 seconds of Phase Shift maybe? Should give you long enough to find the spot.
Thought I would pop by and wish you all the best for the Raid, I am not available to lead Defiants Raid but its all still on and I hope it'll be a fun bit of inter-server competition

That's what I did, strolled in and out in plenty of time. Closer to the subject, connection permitting I'll bring Big Red Git (who will, of couse, be dressed in black), it'll be my first Hami Raid
what insp loadout would you suggest to bring to the hive guys?
