Was there a reason why we kept losing Dead Calm? I had a bind set up to target him, but neither it or the friends list would target him for most of the first part.

If he moves away from your perception range then you will lose him, and I think lag will reduce that range drastically. I have had that happen to me, and in the holding phase I kept losing visual of Hami, but I could see him/her/it if I went closer, so I suspect lag does affect the range.

We got off by almost instant tank teamwipe so kinda sputtering start there 
, but we pulled it thru in the end which matters!

Not my first raid, but first time Ive tanked Hami
Think that was abouts 8-10th raid for me I think. Ive lost count.
Well done all for an enjoyable and eventful raid.
It was good to get back and do one of those and we had our moments in there but we come through for a nice raid, in under 2 hours by my reckoning.
Many thanks to Righteous bob and Generalissimo, for running the PA team for us, White Magus, good support in Hami tank team, Hammerfall, well done on first Hami tank role, Dead Calm on stepping up to the plate on short notice as targeter.
Also, many thanks to Mr J for the general assist and encouragement to do this.
I'm sure there are many more who need thanking but its getting late and I'm tired, so a big thankyou to all those others who took part.

Shame I couldn't be there - maybe one day Defiant'll hold a raid at a time a bit earlier (like on Union, whose raids, though sparse and oft unsuccessful, I can usually attend ) so I can come and give it my full attention. Either way - gratz all!

As an aside I know I got a lot of tells support, advice, questions etc last night so if you sent me one and either got no reply or recieved your reply in caps many apologies from me. It was pretty chaotic at times and by the end of the evening I was on Perma Caps as my team can atest

Thanks to the organisers and gratz to everyone who took part. I thoroughly enjoyed my first Hami raid, even though serious lag meant getting near enough any orange names to rez them was very tricky.....YAY for the 'follow' button
