Hold/Mez immune??

Im playing a storm/rad defender and im about to get to choose some epic powers,i was just wondering which of these is best(if any) for hold and mez resistance,i already have combat jumping,health and acrobatics,basically i want to be able to keep the machinery going non stop without having to pop hundreds of BFs in PvP,i know it´s probably impossible but is there a way with epic powers??

So there is no power i can get(from power pools or epic powers)besides CJ and Acrobatics that helps my hold resistance??

Combat Jump is Immobilise, AFAIK. Acrobatics is hold. I think some of the combat pool powers offer a boost against some control effects, though.

Some other ones that give protection
Weave is immob protection.
Aid Self is stun protection.

Resistance powers, these reduce the duration of mez effects.
IIRC Assault gives Placate and Taunt resistance.
IIRC Tactics gives Confuse and Fear resistance.
Health gives Sleep resistance.


@Unthing ... Mostly on Union.

Isn't Indomniable Will available for Defenders in the Psi Epic? What kinda Magnitude is its Mez Resistance?

id like small buff at least, if not for jsut for pve, getting up of all the stuns etc, holds......

Hmm how about Accelarate Metabolism i believe it has mez protection for sleep,hold,stun,immob so thats like having aid self's stun rez acro's hold rez Cj's immob mez and well extra sleep mez. so hehe.

AM gives resistance to said mez's but not protection ie it will lower the duration you are affected by a mez.

Does Aid Self give resistance? Because it's never stopped me getting stunned. Ever.

As above, "resistance" doesn't stop you being affected, it merely reduces the duration of the hold/sleep/stun etc.

Force Field/ and Sonic/ Defenders are as far as I can remember the only Defenders that provide mez protection for themselves (Hold/Disorient/Immob).
