It is fun though when people target the squishies and get crushed for it. Happens to me all the time. "Ooh, look! A squishy mastermind! Let's snipe/two-shot her!" followed by Build Up and/or Aim, the snipe/heavy attacks, then their death/emergency teleport/zone exit. But I disagree with the "no soloing" bit. I've gone solo plenty of times and survived, either by evasion or just standing my ground. Also I have to disagree with the "no talking" bit. I've had nice conversations with opponents, and harmless "lol I beat you" comments are what they are - harmless.

And someone replied complaining that Stalkers run off and Scrappers and Tankers don't run. I've seen Scrappers and Tankers run from battles plenty of times.

The harshest reality I see in PvP right now is people have shot themselves in the foot.

The nerfing of my stalker's damage means that what happens now is, I knock you down to 1hp and then some Shivan, (in BB), finishes you off and hello debt.

I used to carry and pop reds accordingly, having looked at your AT, but now a tray full of reds isn't going to take you from 100% health to dead, so all I do is set you up for an AI kill.

"You *******! You got me debt!"
"Actually, people kvetching about stalker damage got you debt. But I'm sorry, all the same."

I agree with a few of your points. I have too enjoyed some good conversations with teh enemy. All too often it deteriorates though, so most of the time I have Hide Villain BC.

I've gotten over my hate of stalkers. They are doing what they were designed to. Generally they have to 2 shot my defenders, but thats fine. Gives me chance to do somthing at least. Being 1 shotted cannot be WAI as it does not promote PvP as such, merely PvSittingDuck. I will acknowledge a Stalkers skill when they stick around to scrap out my remaining HP. All too often though, a Missed AS or 20% damage on a stalker has them running for the hills. Gutts, Icy Hidden Moon and Stalk-Obot (forget your Stalkers toon name mate) have my respect as they all stick it out for a bit of scrapping to secure a kill.

Mostly i can appreciate why Broadcast chat does deteriorate. Squishies are easy targets, and I really feel got at when I play. Still, getting kills with a defender gives me a great sense of achievement, and I dare say, occasionally a bit of respect from the recipient.

Blizzard's WoW PvP is slightly more balance, but to avoid unpleasantness, you simply cannot speak to your opponents, because of teh language barrier. (Horde speak 1 language, Alliance speak annother - Broadcasts as seen by an member of the opposing faction appear as gobbledegook)

Anyway. Our session on WB Beach are a lot of fun and for the majority are quite well mannered events.

I think Stalk-Obot is Stalk-Obot's Stalker.

This post brought to you by the word, "Stalk."

I love to talk to my opponents (well when I'm my nice high HP tank ).

Tis always nice to watch a brute and stalker constantly attack while you stand there and say, "Aight, how's it going?"

You make some good friends that way. I actually talked to the brute for about half an hour after that...

See, villains aren't all that bad

You've just got to find the right ones. Generally, the stalkers aren't good at talking to and having a nice 'chat' as it were...brutes are generally nice to talk to though.

Brutes almost always seem to have a sunny disposition for some reason, like big friendly cartoon bears.
