Was that the time with me playing my tank? 2-1 to Gatlings team? :/ We had 2 tanks in our team as I recall.. I simply didnt get enough experience to make an opinion, sorry, team matches are team matches..
If I played against persons in question 100 times then I could make a better opinion..

Thanks, I am trying to make a more suitable pvp build for my tanker with propably 6-slotted taunt (last night it was just 2 slotted with acc) but thats the stuff of another thread. I get the feeling that there is simply no way to make certain powers work in pvp. Stun with my en/en blaster for instance..

whether u did or not, the fact is Gatling is a team build and is exceptionally good at the role, to be good at 1v1 u need to sacrefice being good in teams and 1v1 is as balanced as an elephant on a see saw
u might think that, but we are both elec elec, as balanced as you can make it barring that my build is solo and his is team

the fac tyou brought 6 BFs is why you totally went down hill after you ran out, imo that was a 'stupid mistake', not saying your stupid at all though. being out of BFs with more than 15 seconds to go is gonna get u stomped on as we who are here all well know.
i did acknowledge that you have respecced as i remember you said, and i dont expect our next match to be anything like the last tbh, i dont even expect to win. blasters are the most lethal thing you can face imo.
looking forward to some good matches in future though

Gatling the last time I checked was elec/energy.
The reason I took in 6 bf's is because some blasters don't use their holds at all and it ends up being a massive waste of space.
That was our first and only fight so I had no idea how you were going to play, but you led with a hold everytime. Now that I know that, I will compensate accordingly

sure they are! most of my favourite and most fun fights are with blasters, although i don't get that many, don't get that many against anything tbh :/

P.S. for any pvper out there who isn't sure about insp stocks, if you don't know your opponents sets/build then take enough BFs that, if they are the nastiest combo within the AT, you can still survive, once held we're all screwed

Take the advice people, I learnt this the hard way! Although tbh, I'm still not very experienced at 1v1s at all..
Had some great matches with Blue Freezer last night, and although he beat me 4-2, 4-2, 4-1, I think that was quite respectable seeing as I still have an i5 build on live! (i6 enhanced where possible).

WHo ever said that invis isn't useful in duels was lying. GAtlings invis is very annoying :P.
Ive always pushed the virtues of invis and fly in pvp 
He always gets first hit, and he can just go invis and leg it when he needs to, very useful.

Ive seen Freon walk all over Bitter Ice in 1on1's (not just once), and I havnt seen Bitter beat him. He has fought both his Ice/nrg and his Ice/dev.
Bitter is a good blaster, but IMO not as good as Freon.
Team blaster is another subject. Gatlin does one hell of a job, but so does Freon. Who is the best pick for the team? Depends on what you need. Want more spike go with Gatlin, want more dps go with Freon. IMO it depends on team strat.

PvP in general, movement can make or break a fight.
Know your toon.
Stock up on the insps you'll need.
Stamina and Tactics a must. Aid Self depends on you.

Yea, because as a blaster (for example) it's going to be great fun, completely fair and not boring in the slightest fighting a controller (or anything that can mez), or anything with mez resist if you have no insps.
