i still consider pvping (1on1, 2on2 and similars) not-fun, unfair and/or boring, once some1 starts using inspirations.

Yea, because as a blaster (for example) it's going to be great fun, completely fair and not boring in the slightest fighting a controller (or anything that can mez), or anything with mez resist if you have no insps.

Not fair in terms of:
- someone got bigger inventory
- someone got currently more/better inspirations
- someone only relys on inspirations instead of powers

no one says you must win vs trollers as a blaster. wheres the sense of a controller (using holds), when you can just nullify them with BFs? for me, in a fair fight, i dont use inspirations. in 1on1/2on2 i dont even use unstoppable. but thats just me.
i know theres many people not doing so, and i'm fine with that. i was just saying whats fun for me. pvp is fun for me, not myinventory vs yourinventory.

Well inspirations are affected by level, any player can obtain whatever size of inspirations they want. i don't understand what your last point implies. But i don't quite agree with you, inspirations are open to all so its fair.

Controllers can burn through break frees very fast if their good, so it doesn't nullify the controllers powers entirely, they however give the blaster a fighting chance against the controller.

How would a blaster even get one hit thru because at lvl 50 a troller can essentially two-shot them after they get containment? For me holds are something that are always there, threatening, and if I dont kill quickly Im going to get overwhelmed in a matter of moments and have to eat multiples of bfs at the same time in order to stay alive..

I think your PvP knowledge isnt quite deep enough if you think the way you do..

Well then you're a fool imo, I've had trollers burn my BFs in less than 5 minutes (20 that is) and I've had trollers I literally can't scratch in some fights.

Insps give ppl a fighting chancce in a 10 minute match, in prolonged PvP we all know it would be very different 1v1 and trollers would truely be the best alrounders, although as it is it's all about ice/nrg blaster, SR and Regen scrappers and pretty much any troller.

In a friendly raid between our SG and VG the other day, 1 of the heroes suggested they let us spawn, it was appreciated,although we destroyed the heroes because we got a hold on them. no remorse if you want to win, you don't take it easy on a death mage just because 'awww I held him in 1 shot'

A grav 'troller with Power Boost can quite easily stack 8+ Holds on someone, probably more.. And as for Immobs? 'trollers can go straight over a Scrappers or Tankers Mez protection with the right slotting, break free's are no trouble.

If you've been able to nullify a controller with just a singular break free, you've not been fighting very good (PvP) controllers.

Mezzing works like this.

Every mezzing attack has a magnitude. Troller holds are mag 3 with a chance to make a critical attack (10%). Criticals add another mag 1, and thos making it a mag4 hold.

Break frees have a magnitude protection somewhere between 10 and 15. Actually its a fixed number, I just cant remember how high.

If a controller stacks enough mezz effects of the same kind on a person using a break free, they will eventually have enough magnitude to overcome the break free, and thereby mezzing the person even if he uses a break free.

Scrapper mez protection protects from 3 mez effects from a controller. This changes over lvl. When you first get the scrapper mez protection, you only have protection from 2 mez effects before you are mezzed.

Tank mez protection is a bit higher than scrappers.

I can with my controller spam a immob every 1,5-2,5 sec. Meaning it will take me about 10-15 secs to overcome a break free presuming all my attacks hit.

The numbers arent exact, but it will give you an idea on how mez effects work.

on the topic of blasters again, 4 blaster mezs will stack over a lvl 50 scrapper's protection, acro will make it the case that 6 are needed for some bizzarre reason from what i've tested.

best bet: kick em in the nuts

o and cherry fusion = 5 mins -> no BFs, that was the last one that seriously messed me up
