The Experiment

A couple of weeks ago a few of us decided that an all Fire SuperGroup would be great fun. So we got together and created one!

During a massive science experiment innocent workers and nearby pedestrians we're genetically altered to give some control of fire and flames. With their new found powers, these people have bonded together to put right the wrongs in Paragon City!

Fire/* and */Fire Hero Archtypes are all allowed. We currently are ranged between levels 1-9.

The idea is to meet up every Wednesday to begin with, hopefully after a while these may become mains and people will be on more often, but lets not run before we can walk

hmmm, my new lil Elec/Fire blaster has no home atm, so id be up for this im taking mainly Fire powers, buildin her as a fire tank long story...

I built a fire/fire tanker a little while ago mostly as a means to back-grab low-level mission badges for my main char. Level 12 at the moment.

I have my own SG but it's only got a few members so would be nice to have a regular meet on Wednedays. I'll keep an eye on this but send my a Private Message if you're still looking for people to join.

Btw, my main interest is to form a solid group for task force & trial type stuff.

I'm very temted to join, already got a fire/fire tanker idea and I've been toying with the concept of a new fire controller, prob with storm secondary. Gonna wait and see how busy college gets tho, will contact you if I do decide to join...

Had lots and lots of fun again! We're all around the level 9 mark now, it would've been higher if not for that awful mission we tried to complete last night .

It's disappointing that there were so few of us! Only one team's worth this week. Next week I want to see at least two teams, if not three.

So people, if you have a */Fire or Fire/* character, of Science origin, around level 6-10, give us a shout! /tell either myself (Dyna Might or @Stasis), Wam (Jessica Jones or @Jericho Blaines), Weasel (Smoking Jacket or @Silver Weasel) or FG, (Doctor Tran or @Fire Guardian) and we'll get you into the SG!

Thoroughly enjoyable first night, for the banter AND gameplay. I think we couldve taken those +3-4 bums if we'd of had one more crack!
Great teaming with some of the Forumites i dont usually meet ingame.

This sounds fun - tempted to create a new toon and join in (must decide on a toon to delete tho ... mmmmmm). Would you still be accepting new members for next wednesday? (gives me time to read your SG backstory and create a toon acordingly).

The Experiment is always a lot of fun to play with, but the most horrible, most evil, and most deadly threat I've seen so far is Weasel in his Smoking Jacket and slippers.

I liked the bit where my virtual memory crapped out on me. Luckily, I'll be fixing this in a week or so. I'm unsure whether to upgrade my RAM to something ridiculous, or buy a new computer. I saw a nice Pentium D with a gig of RAM and an nVidia card, all of which would be perfect for a new computer, so I could swap this one into a server...but it's spending £560 instead of £150...

Would like to have joined in but wednesday evenings are a no-no for me unless it's early evening or late.

just realised i have a fire/kin controller at level 17 of a science origin who could join.

Only problem is his name is peep because he was supposed to be an alien. does that mean I can't join? :P

The fourth time was the best. Three simultanious hits taking me from full health to dead, with some nicely cinematic knockback as well.

It was like a John Woo film, if John Woo made films about people being hit in the face with rocks.

The Gulch run where I died within a second of actually entering the Gulch by jumping off the edge and landing on a Magmite Lord's head was also a highlight.

How weird was it when those wannabe's in their ice-gear showed up! They did have cool cossie's though.
If u can get a toon up to near lvl 9 before next wednesday (wow, there's a challenge) you can join Frice. It has to have a fire powerset, be of science origin and preferably wear a suit (or something resembling this).
