I shall definately be there. Cooking dinner up now so I don't need to get away. It'll be the first proper run for the upgraded PC...sick of the computer slowing you down? Irritated by the lack of multi-tasking? Buy two gig of RAM. Ohhh, yes.

Well, with our new found...mmmm..companions we ventured forth to look at this terrible little oik called Frostfire. His house was SUCH a mess; one would think he hadn't had the cleaners in for months. Unfortunately he wasn't able to create some ice sculptures for my up and coming dinner party as he'll be spending the rest of the time in the Ziggurat. And I learned something new today as well, supposdely the working class don't smell of cabbage. Another day, another revelation with the Experiment.

This seems like it might be great - it was a lot of fun with only 4 of us and we were a very effective team as well.
It was also effortlessly rp - I'm not normally a big rp'er but it felt easier as part of an official team as it were.

Agreed. I had a great laugh and can't wait to see the rest of the SG. As Mr Cuddles said the RP did come easy, and this is someone who has never RP'ed in CoX before. Found the background to Blazing Furnace developing rather nicely throughout the night.

I'm level 8, furnace is 12 I think - jacket and grilling machine are around the 10 mark
I think I will play with this character at other times, not just wednesdays because I've always wanted a fire/rad controller and I'm happy with the playstyle which is unusal because I generally cant truly tell if I like a playstyle until the 20's
Yup Furnace hit 12 last night. I can't get over how powerful this toon is for such an early level. The four of us kicked some serious troll booty last night. Frosty ain't going to get up from that one anytime soon.

You'll find that am helps you feel more powerful - I think it has a damage buff as well as endurance/recovery boost

Basically the only restraints are characters must have Science Origin and be Fire based in Primary/Secondary or Both.
Average level is about 10 atm.
Meet is every Wednesday night around 8 (GMT) and is almost fully IC.
BTW : Smoking Jacket is a Lecherous Lounge Lizard, so don't be offended by his ...mmm....Innuendo.

Blazing Furnace won't be there this coming wednesday (infact none of my toons will be on for the forthcoming week). Am going through a bit of a domestic crises atm so things like CoX are going to have to take a back seat for a while.

Something I've noticed is that, when a couple of Experiment members (not mentioning any names here) have said something along the lines of "oh, can X join?" Wam, Stas, Weas and myself have been only too happy to oblige, but those people aren't Science origin. I've not done anything about it, because it isn't my baby, but I don't know where Wam stands on it.

Oddly, this is similar to what I was going to ask about.... I have a fire/storm 'troller currently languishing at about 17 (so yes, I may wait a while anyway) - unfortunately he isn't science origin....but would it be a problem to team with you guys occasionally?
