The battle is always ongoing.
You have control now, but not for long.
Most villains I've seen in Siren's in a while.
Shame there isn't a similar thread on the Heroes section of the forums, might have had some competition.
Well you all had my victory speech in-game but daaaamn, that was fun.
Again, I wanna say good job to everyone, and thanks for showing up. As Kinslayer suggested, I reckon this should be a monthly thing. I'll get another one organised for some time when the heroes regain control. Nice list of temp powers for sale though
In the beginning there was over 30 Villains in the zone, dunno how many heroes were there but there was quite a lot at some point. We still won though
Heroes showed some good resistance a bit after we gained Tier 1 control, and then tried to prevent us from gaining Tier 2 control by killing our Arachnos, but to no avail, we kicked the crap out of them and went on to gain Tier 2 control of the zone. We should manage to keep it for a while.
Once again, thanks to everyone for making it so great, couldn't have done it without you
P.S : YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!
I give it about a day, maybe 2 at most
well tht was certainly fun, i didnt actually get killed for about 20 mins at one point, quite pleased at tht .
now for childish thing to do.
we did it, we did it, we did it, in ur face heros. *sticks tongue out*
I hate missing everything oh wells hopefully I should be able to get some new RAM soon Vieyka barely got to do any healing before I crashed no fair but. GJ! Nice work and hopefully we can keep control of it for ooh maybe a record time? We must be careful of the heroes planning similar though.
Hmmm....Heroes seem to be quicker to respond and return control than we do...
And [censored] do you mean you'll have the vids up in a few days?! Get em up now!
If my PC was working normally I'd be doing all I could to keep siren's it's not yet, ofc when it is it will probably take me ages to get far past level 20 Also SHOOOOOWWWWW me that video! please please please
It was fun, although it was clear Heroes were outnumbred for the most part.
Another thing i noticed, Heroes do have more debuffer wich is a real pain. Not sure how things will work out in Recluse Victory but i expect a total domination by the Heroes at the peek hours.
yeah! no fair, heroes have it all good. gaggle, gaggle, spit, flAT!
anyway, I'll try and get our recording on here sooner, but its hard work you see.
not to mention the inconveniences.. the files arent in my possession.
Edit: Have the camps-in-tights regained control over Sirens already? if so, how long did we hold it for?
Yay, we did it!!
And it was great fun too.
Never seen the villian's 2nd tier temp power's before, some look really handy
Think this should definitely be more of a regular thing.
I'll be there

I'm dead serious here, whenever heroes start to show up in great numbers, the pletora of debuff just cripple any villains that dare trying to get in melee range.
Stalkers are fun yes, but i have yet to see their use in a mass PvP fight such as the one we had on Saturday where there are lots of AoE debuffs/damage.
Perhaps it has to do with the fact that CoH has been out longer than CoV and that the former is more oriented toward teamplay. CoV is very solo friendly, hence i believe people tend to favor solo AT and the build that goes with them.
What a great night, loads of Villains and Heroes turned sirens into a true war zone.
Very little whining about debt and lots of good sportsmanship on both sides made it a great night.
Again Kitetsu thanks for a great night, hope you arrange something like this again soon.
Perhaps we need an all pvp vg to beat the heroes with our own mass buffing/debuffing/healing. I'd deffo get in it with my fire/thermal corr or wee little energy/kin corr. I think teams of corrupters, dominators with maybe a little stalker support or mastermind support in I7 would work.
Debt, it was my pleasure
Also, we probably will do this more often, maybe every 2 weeks or every month, the heroes having those damned temps is really annoying
And of course it's a good PvP Rep bump, I got my Rep up to 150 And I got enough bounty for 3 SO's

There is a pvp sg - its called Last League of Destruction. Description (ive just copied and pasted) "Pure PvP group for newcomers and experiences players alike. Set up by various PvP playes from CoH and Defaint server as well as a good mix of Pve players from Union. This group is all about PvP builds and creating arena teams to give heroes a challenge. We have some of the most recognised PvP players from Union, Defiant, CoH and CoV all keen on creating a group to compete equally with the heroes".
To get in contact these globals - @Kinslayer, @Scar, @Max Powerz
Heros
Max Powerz: Lv 50 Tanker
Villains
Max Khaos: Lv 50
Overlord of E.V.I.L.
My Brute - http://maxy-khaos.mybrute.com/
LF SG! Arc ID# 193083
Right I'm in as I get on, if at all possible
A PvP VG, surely an oxymoron
Oh well they got sirens call back but were still giving them a good fight, been gankin them for the past two days, were getting it back slowly, if only we had the numbers from the other day
He he he, was great fun in there on Saturday though and the only thing that surprised me was that we didn't spawn a 'Sirens Call 2'.
Had at least 30 villains there at the start and was quite funny as we sat in base getting ready hearing a few heroes asking over broadcast 'any villains here?' only for us to come rolling out for a 10 on 1 gank fest and lots of brown lycra tights being filled on the hero side.
An hour or so in, the heroes started calling in reinforcements and it got a bit more even. At one point I think we had even sides with around 20 on each.
The main thing that allowed us to win out at the end though was that we had more staying power. Even when the heroes were fighting back and reclaiming some of the zone, we stuck at it for most of the day while the heroes seemed to put up a fight for short periods before throwing in the towel. At one point, the heroes were really pushing us back but suddenly seemd to lose interest and all leave.
The fact we had a global channel set up and was coordinating our hot spot retreats en masse also helped.
Only really heard of one incident that soured the situation when one of the villains was deliberately TP'ing heroes into mobs which was sorted out very quickly.
Personal highlight for me was when I'd chased some guy back to the hero base before getting the final shot in just before he reached safety. Unfortunately, a scrapper entered the zone and saw my squishy Corruptor all alone and chased me down. He obviously had just arrived for random PvP unaware of what was going as he chased me all the way back to the hotspot where 20+ villains were waiting. Seeing him suddenly try to reverse up as he rounded the corner of the building, only to go down under a hail of fire, ice, radiation and psy attacks while he said over broadcast 'uh oh' did make me chuckle.
A little disapointed with the villain tier 2 powers which are nowhere near as useful as the hero ones
ugh we went to regroup then i crashed... got myself a few hero kills tho yay.. how many for the badge ive no idea?
